Sorry to be off topic but does anybody know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Jay Khari I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Just got this bass today from you all. Already said thanks on the phone just wanted to say it again. Man, what a great bass. So happy to have a bass that is active and passive. Great sound and so versatile. It's as if a Jazz bass and Stingray had baby 😆. Very pleased. Great customer service from you guys too. Take care.
Ordered same bass today! Hope she will not disappoint me! I will not use the neck pickup at all, I have Am Pro PBass for that . . wanted a 5 string Jazz . .
Beautiful bass and amazing review. Nice range of playing styles and active/passive options. One of these is now at the top of my list ! If it had chrome hardware I’d be all over it but the gold bling IS warming to me !!!!
Great demos on these new Charvel basses! You guys know how to demo....I have a feeling these are gonna sell like crazy....and then Fender will kill them off LOL
Hi, love your reviews. One of the best in youtube bass reviews. Th P-bass explanations are awesome. I have a question... searching for the 5 str. "jazz bass". Ive done some research and thought - maybe you could help. Cort GB-Modern-5 Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass JJ V SIRE V7 What's your opinion about these? From the reviews the Charvel sounds for me the best, but the SIRE has the most versatile preamp, and Cort is the lightest one. Thanks.
You guys who are complaining about fret buzz are listening on a phone. Listening to bass demos on a phone is not giving you anything like an accurate reference. Listen on a system designed for bass.
I kind of wish Fender had mixed some of these specs with their Fender Ultra Jazz V especially the 35" neck. I just like the jazz aesthetic a bit more, not that that would keep me from getting one of these. I also wish this didn't have gold hardware which I'm not crazy about. One thing I also wonder about; I have two basses with 35" necks, like this one, but they also have a tilt back headstock which doesn't require a string tree. They have the best sounding B strings of my basses. I wonder if a string tree on the B string, like Lakland does, would be good idea.
Fender owns Charvel. I'd take a Charvel over a Squier any day. Charvel are pumping out crazy good stuff right now. Loads of killer and modern options for a crazy affordable price. Incredible playability. I own a Charvel guitar and it's a beast.
what's better ...this Charvel or a Sandberg California and also how about the Sadowsky Metroline...are they any good? i dont like active basses I really prefer the oldschool sound of a passive bass...why do people get active basses??? i dont understand ... can someone explain me? thanks
I haven't A/B'd them to give you a good answer on the comparison. I think active and passive basses serve different tonal purposes. I prefer a passive bass myself, but would never discredit having active one (I'm actually looking to add one into my arsenal). Different players have different stylistic needs and sometime active is the way to go. If you like old school P Bass tone (as do I) then play old school P basses. I would encourage you to at some point have fun w/ active electronics though and their tonal versatility... they also rule, just not for everything. Thanks for watching - Anthony
Certainly not for everyone.... however these have sold very well for us in this color! Wouldn't be my first choice either, but actually wasn't too bad. Thanks for watching though - Anthony
This Bass looks beautiful, I hope the series is successful so they keep coming with similar designs.

@Jay Khari it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my account!
@Bodie Zeke No problem :)
most simple and dope ass bass i've ever seen and even sounds like a beast. Ohh God.. i want this so bad
I agree...I'm thinking what to sell to buy one!?
Playing the green for St Patrick"s Day! Nice sounding bass Anthony. Thank you.
You're the first one to post audio clips of this bass online! Thanks!

And they ship FAST! Bought the 4 string

Great time and groove .. And he really showcased the low B
Thanks Wyatt.. being predominantly a 4-String player, I'm never fully comfortable on a 5. Thanks for watching - Anthony
Brilliant! I bought this bass yesterday after watching your review and I am very satisfied. Ibought it in Italy, my conutry
Awesome... glad to hear. Enjoy it! Thx for watching - Anthony

Charvelle always had a great rep. I was looking for hot jazz bass, but not a jazz body, so this is kinda perfect. 🤔🤔🤔
wow I don't come across a lot of reviews of basses where I actually thing the bridge pickup alone could be used in something and sound great.
Love passive mode
I’ve been looking for someone to demo this, so thanks! 4:28
That bass sounds great. Thanks for the video on the new basses that come out.
Hi Anthony, you have convinced me to buy this bass. Sounds awesome!
Great demos on these new Charvel basses! You guys know how to demo....I have a feeling these are gonna sell like crazy....and then Fender will kill them off LOL
That’s is why I want one because that’s exactly what Fender will do…you see what they did with SWR.
That bridge pickup sounds amazing 🤩
that's a great sounding bass

Cort GB-Modern-5
Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass JJ V
SIRE V7
What's your opinion about these?

Thanks.

Aside from the roasted maple, that thing looks like it's straight outta 2004.
Pickup size & string spacing please?
Where is this bass made in?
I just wish the 5 string had the P/J set up.
It would be cool if they offered both. I’m honestly a purist and absolutely love the straight up jazz bass look, but i know the PJ thing is popular
Or blue color...
My first bass was blue Cahrvel iv. I sold it years ago and now nostalgia is hitting me!
they do make one
bout to say something i never thought id say... i think the action should be raised a bit
Looks cool. !!! I'm thinking about getting the red one. Is it heavy?
Do you know the string spacing at the bridge? I couldn't find it on the website. Thanks for your help.
trying to find the same...
17.5 mm
Just got home with mine today:)...
What would be some upgrades you would do on this bass

Does this bass make a lot of noise
How high quality is if you compare fender to this brand ?
Charvel is Fender with different specs
Fender owns Charvel. I'd take a Charvel over a Squier any day. Charvel are pumping out crazy good stuff right now. Loads of killer and modern options for a crazy affordable price. Incredible playability. I own a Charvel guitar and it's a beast.
Nice nice tone

i really wish the bass was matte
uh, that B string!!
quite a lot of fret-buzz
Have you played a stingray? Don’t get wrong my stingray 5 sounds awesome the fret noise plays into the character of the tone.
Nah
I set my basses up with a little bit of buzz on purpose. It plays into the sting and growl of the bass.
@@henrypeterson2040 I completely agree. The charvel does that tastefully and when you hit a proper distortion it sounds sick.
Setup to string High position up to you, for me i love that little fret buzz sound on bass
You changed hand positions while changing pickup positions, thats cheating my man.
IMHO it always sounds best to play over the pickup that is being soloed
It looks like a high quality bass but that color ? Army green ? ? ? how much weed do you have to smoke before that becomes the first choice ? ? ?
Certainly not for everyone.... however these have sold very well for us in this color! Wouldn't be my first choice either, but actually wasn't too bad. Thanks for watching though - Anthony
@@EmpireMusicPgh I jumped into this color! Loved it!
not sensationnal
