Stanislav Stanislavovich Bunin (Russian: Станислав Станиславович Бунин, Stanislav Stanislavovič Bunin; born September 25, 1966) is a Russian-born pianist. He was born in Moscow in 1966 into an established European musical family which included his grandfather Heinrich Neuhaus, his grandmother Zinaida (Boris Pasternak's wife), and his father, Stanislav Neuhaus.
In 1985, after a series of prizes, he won first prize and the gold medal in the 11th International Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Recently, he recorded a few of Chopin's works for the soundtrack to the video game Eternal Sonata. He currently resides in Japan.

どなたかも言っていたけどブーニンの演奏(ショパン)には彼にしかない哲学を感じる。
ミスタッチは多いけど美しく深く品があり譜面どうり弾いたところで他の誰も真似する事の出来ない解釈と表現力。
ブーニンにはショパン弾きとしてだけでも良いからお爺さんになって
もレジェンドでいて欲しかった。

ショパンコンクールの最中です。誰の演奏を聴いても、ブーニンさんを超えるかどうかという視点で聞いてしまいます。このふわふわ感に包まれた中のダイナミックな演奏。。。なんて表現したらいいんでしょう。。。私にとって最高のショパン原典です。
