Look for a old albemarle 24. You can find them for a really good price. Some under 5,000 bucks. Its basically the same exact design and the hulls of the 24 albemarle is well over 1" think. I think mine measured 1 3/8 when I put in a transducer. They are set up for inboard outboard combo but you can always take it out and build a deck with storage where the engine box was and but a bracket on the back with a pair of 150s. 150s would be plenty to shove this boat around good. I think you could honestly get away with a pair of 125 to 140s
@ajpinaust The 243L is not even close to having the same lines as a formula 233. I know this as I actually owned a Whitepointer 243L for 8yrs up until a couple of months ago The 243L does not (tried and tested)keep up with a 233 in a heavy head on swell or chop, a following sea it will keep up, if not better. However with never been in a 263, with the extra weight and length yes the 263 is a beast and could potentially annihilate formula 233
Big heavy v8 low in the hull is what the 23.3 was built for and thats what i put in mine performance is amazing after you launch it out of the water and it turns like its on rails
My dream boat!

I’d love to see the Whitepointer in there lads!
I think she’s the pic of the litter
Whitepointer's are not in the same class as the 233 travelling from A to B.
But they are the perfect alrounder as being a lot more stable at rest.
@@jb243wp its a 243 HH mould which came about from the 233... then extended to 263 with 700hp.... itd eat a 233

So is this hull a Formula hull from the US?
It's Don aronows formula hull which was then modified by haines hunter and then modified again by edencraft.
Has obviously never been in a cat , if he thinks that is stable .
