The buyer got a good deal on the manure spreader. Amish use them because they're Amish rules compliant. If the gears and clutch still work and after cleaning it out then buyer of that drill got the steal of the auction.
That Ford went cheap! Congratulations on the carry all! The 8N with the sickle bar went reasonable ! Sickle bar went okay ! Pass on the Ferguson ! That A make a good addition to some ones fleet ! Good video!
12.4-24s is right for the 240 Utility. That's what mine has. A Farmall 240 or maybe High Utility 240 (if there is such a thing) has the 36" tires. That's the first time I heard a lady auctioneer. She did a very good job. One of the things I like about the timed online auctions we have now is there is no more selling by choice. That's one thing about live auctions I've never cared for. Nice win on the carryall. That 460 has power steering. 3600 is not a bad price for it. At least it would go to work at that. $700 was cheap for the Super A. If I was there, I would have been buying it. I sure did get a good deal on my 240. I do think this one was worth the $3100. Just the seat is almost $400.
Some good deals there! I'm looking at a local 460. Serial number puts it at a 1960- no update mark on the serial tag. I wonder when they made the corrections right from the factory. I know the last ones made were updated from the factory, but this one wasn't made early or late lol
Good deals to be had. 460 sold low. If the drill worked it was well worth the money even if you did have to clean it out. Manure spreader, etc. Didn't buy the weights? What up?
Glad you got your carryall. Hetricks Farm Supply is a good dealership. I've been there several times and I bought a nice 450 years ago from them. Do you live anywhere close to them. I have friends not too far away from there towards Clarion I sometimes come up there to hunt from Virginia.
if ya can buy a tawn tractor for 25 bucks a peice buyem for me, i love fixen them. i looking for a case 440, or 446 or a Alis 414. lol but any littler ones selling for 25 to 50 bucks, up here in good ol alberta even ones with 2/3 of the tin gone or bent up beyound fixing and not running sell for 300 or more. people are crazy up here
tellem to hang the weights on the front of them tractors and you will have every ones hands in the air. one thing i laugh my ass off waching these sales, they cannot get bids on a tractor but hold up a weight and every ones hand goes up.
@@FarmallFanatic told my partener i wished our dollar and yours was par, and it was not such a hassel to buy there and bring here. I would buy then 4000.00 and less dollar tractors all day long, haulem up here puttem in a auction and triple my money. Every time i been to a sale to try to get a tractor i wanted they general started higher than i was gonna bid. Went to buy a little 2010 johndeer one day with a loader. The injector pump was held on by two lines only rest were missing and the housing was disconected from the block. I knew that but did know the motor was not hurt, as owner told me the injector pump crashed was all. It started at 5000.00 and sold for 10,500.00 i nearly had a heart attack. Same sale a case 830 with no tires on the rear at all, sold for 6000.00 they are plumb crazy up here.
Good day FF Boy that Naa ?? went reasonable I think, I would still like to know what that lever on side of clutch housing was for? Boy the disc went good price! Are Ontario sees drill from Ontario??? 3 furrow plough was cheap When selling 460, boy a neighbour up here has one for 3500, might be reasonable. Anyways thanks
That lever is a Sherman Auxiliary Transmission. Gives you a high and low range plus the standard gears. So a total of 12 forward speeds and 3 reverse instead on 4 forward and one reverse.
Stock is 36.66 at the belt. However, it may have 4" pistons, it may have fire crater pistons and other modifications. Rachel Gingell's M dynos at around 60hp.
Nice Auction! Great Video! Thanks!
Fairly new to the channel. Thank you for sparking an old flame
Thanks for watching
