I'm on a Joint Vocational School Board and we get donated stuff. The kids can part them out or make a parade tractor if it takes a couple years and they sell it at an auction. That paint looks better than a rattle can job.

Yes, the Ford lawn and garden tractors were built by Gilson in the 80s. Later they were built by Toro. Ford, as with Allis Chalmers and a few others did not build their own L&G stuff. Of course JD and IH built their own, but AC, MF, Ford, etc., did not.
Hydrostatic lawn mowers are the cats meow! Particularly ones that have the foot operated controls, the ones that you have to use your hand is for the birds, because you oftentime need one hand on the steering wheel and 1 hand to lift branches out of your face,, Which is another reason I will not have one of those zero turn ones that have the 2 levers...
