What are your favorite drum mixing tips and techniques?
As long as there’s a stereo room track, duplicate it (if there aren’t two stereo tracks) and use a slow attack to add punch to the tracks and blend it with a smashed track, to increase the room’s sustain

Is there anyway to push the snare back and have some space? I tried with a reverb but hard to hear it in the full mix.
try taking some top end off, it will make it feel more distant

Tightness is a useless phrase to use. Shame he didnt talk about the removal of mud which is the quickest way to improve the sound of your drum miz. Some useful advice here worth remembering, but he missed a lot out

You need programming tips? Lower the velocities and vary them.
