Same, but I also had a lot of fun in the Extreme Landings game before newer games like RFS, Infinite Flight Simulator, and Aerofly came out.
This is why i would call "Rortos" "Aviation's EA"

Rortos was always focused on military aviation games, and when they try something different, they were really hit on point.
I played all of these when I was a kid and it's what got me into aviation and I'm about to graduate from my school's aviation department with a commercial drone rating. I love these games even though they're kinda crappy.

As someone who played battleship destroyer, it was not just shooting planes
You had a ship that could be upgraded, it had some cannons as well as AAA
It had a campaign where you earned money to upgrade the ship's weaponry, i found it very fun at the time, missions included shore bombardment, anti air and ship to ship combat
i remember these games and all i would do is see how damn fast that f18 could possibly go, the nostalgia wave hits hard
That "Modern Warship" ad you got at 2:51 is a trap. The game itself is a masterpiece, the devs know their priority
yeah other games have masterpiece ads but modern warship is opposite
I’ve been with these games since the start at F18 Carrier Landing on IPod Touch when I was a kid, which makes me somewhat proud to have been a part of the community’s history.
Thank you for making this video, it brought back some good memories. I have to admit the F18 games were probably the reason I’m so passionate about military aviation and flight sims now.
The blue Angels thing u can make it so that you control the whole airplane (with flaps,airbrakes etc) before the mission starts there are 3 modes the first 1 is full autopilot the 2nd one is autopilot but u still partially have control of the airplane and the 3rd one is you have full control, it's kinds hard to master the 3rd one at first but once you get to play the game alot it's pretty easy and fun

Always enjoyed the An 124 on extreme landings where players can open/close the rear ramp and nose ramp
Rotors games were what brought me into the world of flight sims which gave me some good experience on flying real aircraft, I'm forever thankful for that studio
I used to play F18 carrier landing all the time as a kid on my mum’s phone. This video unlocked some real memories.

I only played one of these games back to 2013 but I wasn't paying attention about the dev name or anything. And when I watched this video with your commentaries, it made me live all those moments as if I was you playing the game since 2011 till I saw the latest updates and made me appreciate the works of these devs and the fun entertainment they brought to mobile gaming experience. Nice vid and big thumb up to Rortos for their work. Ig I will go and download Wings of """herles""" (you did a typo while typing the last chapter title name hahahaha) now ;) maybe go back a little if I had time haha

As someone who once spent a *lot* of hours in Extreme Landings, the soundtrack for that game was actually fire

Anyways I'm just really excited to see this video! I don't know when I'm gonna get to playing any video games, but this would be one of my first in a long time. This game would be cool with Google maps, like missions in local areas, and like, in California, or wherever people are at, to have like some familiarity and drama to areas, and to get to know areas
I loved this studio to death back in the day. I remember the monetization getting a lot worse as time went on, so that's why I eventually stopped playing them, but I still love these games' core gameplay. I'd put everything on "realistic" mode and go ham, it was so much fun micromanaging every part of the aircraft for me.

Air Navy Fighters was so fun back then. It was definitely from 2012, since it was available on the Meep kid tablet thing also released the same year. For some reason the C-2 Greyhound that came with the full version was armed with an autocannon

I remember playing Extreme Landings for HOURS on end, and as a kid I often flew around LGA a lot in game, while the scenery wasn’t the best, I enjoyed playing it.

I played the carrier landing and the battle ship destroyer games 6 years ago, and these were so fun to play, as a pilot.
I remember playing historical landings, it was one of the first ones they did, if not the first. And i spent so much time with it as a kid. It's the game that got me into aviation first. So nostalgic to see this video...

Extreme landing was one of my fav games in those years. I used to play it all the time, hardest mission for me was the short landing where u have to land in a specific point. I played the WW2 game after it and the heli, loved em both too. Marine sim and all those games had one thing common when i played, Failing a mission was like being stabbed cos it took too much time and effort.

Downloaded Carrier landings, very legendary.
I played most of this games and I still have installed the Air Fighters pro in my mobile.
Now you can only download the Air Fighters but back in the days there were an Air Fighters Pro with all the planes unlocked. Well, if you bought It you still can install It.

I've known rortos since I was 10 I'm now 15 so I've been playing their games for 5 years of my life, my first ever rortos game was "airline commander" and I played it for a long time and then I moved to rfs for more realism and liberty to fly everywhere, and then I ve installed almost every other game of rortos, so yes rortos is very important for us mobile avgeeks😀

Rfs pourait faire une maj ou on peut conduire les véhicules de service et pouvoir metre du fuel, chargé les cargaisons, eteindre le feu manuellement sa serait un nouveau métier parce que ya pilote,atc et sa pourrait en être un troisième (airport véhicule service) comme nom par exemple. Sinon ta vidéo retrace toute l’histoire de Rotos et j’ai des souvenirs surtout sur carrier landing et très bonne vidéo comme dab bg 😄🤙

Thanks for the game! I really should pay the monies, because it's worth it, but the tilt controls are freaking perfect. I haven't played air fighters since like 2014, but it was a real test of skill and I really loved the gun and the missile camera. I wish I had footage of my oils games, it was really exciting! But if I did, I think you would really like my footage, and that would be a nice contribution if I could, but .. yeah, I'm gonna pay for it for sure, truly a game worth paying for

I think Rortos was an underrated flight games developer, mostly because the cost of the games. Only when RFS came out they had the recognition they deserverd. I used to pirate their games, but i bought RFS Pro a couple of times and its worth the cost.
Actually f18 carrier landing Is kinda good it still has some crash physics if you are into military jets you might like f18 carrier landing.

My favorite games are blue angels, helicopter sim hellfire, air navy fighters, AirFighters, carrier landings, historical landings, they have really cool graphics tbh but I respect your opinion though

The RORTOS Battleship Destroyer game was my childhood, I loved it
I personally loved the battleship defend game, because think about this, many classic games have this same type of game, where your an AA gun defending a position, but rortos's version of that type of game kinda gave you unique missions and your boat would ACTUALLY MOVE across the map, that was cool to me
That was my favourite game from Rortos, I was sad that they stopped supporting it
Air navy fighters lite was my absolute favorite mobile game growing up in the early 2000s

All up until everything started getting pay walled lmao.
When it came out, extreme landing had all aircraft unlocked, but quickly started to pay wall them.
I cant beleive how old those games are, when i first got my ipod touch i knew rortos quiet well and despite those prices, they were the best free flight sims on the app store that I could find. I was always into planes and my early years with my ipod definitely influenced me choosing to go to school to be a pilot today
Actually if Gunship III was out at that time, the realistic mode probably had the best physics, even today when comparing it to Xplane mobile it has very good aerodynamic physics despite how old it is

Second: (Air Navy Fighter Lite ) was deleted from Google play permanently , I was very sad because it was my favourite game and I glad to able to download as abk file , I think they deleted because rotos thinks that people would go to carrier landings game but I didn't liked , I just hope Rotos foucos on games with better controls and simulation not graphics

Oh yo cool thing i noticed in Airline commander is that in the virtual map, all the background planes are actual irl flights! Noticed that when i saw an air france flight in the game, then i went on flightradar24 and google, it was an actual flight!
all this reminds me of my childhood especially airline commander, I used to play it a lot altho i had a problem with my thrust, any time I would pitch up, it would go down which really annoyed me.

I remember playing Extreme Landings on my cheap tablet in 2016 when I live at my grandparents house, months just before moving to new home.
In Blue Angels you can set the settings to simulation which makes it insanely difficult

Because i have playing the older version on it in 2015-2016. I'ts realistic if i crash the plane smoothly. wing and fuselage not separate (not break apart)... please pin me
