I love this lesson for sure. I have often found myself wanting to undo the staples. Thanks alot guy
Thank you Stephie for the nice words about my paintings, and I'm glad you like my videos too. Thanks for watching them. Yes, realistic painting nearly did die out, beginning around 1900, except for a few great realist painters such as Norman Rockwell, who got no respect from the art "establishment" while he was alive. Classical art is making a comeback now, thank goodness, but there is still a great deal of goofy to downright insane "art" out there.
Hello Mr. Baker ! I really thought Norman Rockwell was highly respected in all area's ? I learn something new every time i watch your video's .
hahah thhhank you soo much!! This has been very helpful ! :)
Love it! My daughter has got me welding a tab onto some sheet metal pliers. Now I know why. Lovely vid.
You're a good dad, John, and you have a smart daughter, too, willing to make her own tools (with a little help from you). Make sure you file the corners of the tab round, and take off any sharp edges, after you well it on, so it won't gouge or mark the wood when the pliers are levered against it. Home-made canvas pliers are superior to all but the most expensive store-bought ones.
Loving all the videos you have on you tube as you have so much information clearly and concisely put as well as some great humor! Ty so much for the effort and the time you took to do so. Also am so in love with realism (thought it had basically died out !) Your paintings are spectacular!
Great info on the sheet metal pliers and how to adapt them!
really helpful! thank you
