I'm never bored with your videos Tyler as you always find something unique. I wouldn't worry about limited range and options due to COVID as we enjoy watching your local NSW vids as much as your jaunts further afield. Thanks for showing that other route out of Barrington. We'll be keen to check it out next time we visit the area. I look forward to seeing a Deua National Park video one day as mentioned in one of your past monologues.
Thanks mate, appreciate it! Yep Deua National Park is definitely on the list of places!
@@TylerThompson90 Hi Tyler. I'm down here near Deua. Some of the old tracks still are not open since the bushfires. Let me know if you need a guide! It would also make a good collaboration with the Outdoors CBR crew on Yewtube if you were that way inclined.
Tyler I have to say that this is one of my most favourite videos you've posted. Love the scenery, the music and your humbleness. You make me seriously want to get out there again now that we finally can. I appreciate all the effort you put into capturing where you are, in and out of the car to get the best footage. We are so lucky to live in Australia and I'm also from NSW and adore it. I thank you for sharing your experiences and wish you all the very best with making a life out of living in the great outdoors. Finally, what a great dad you are, I'm sure your son will cherish all the adventures he's been on with you and your dad. Keep smiling! :)
Thanks so much for the feedback and really glad you enjoyed the video! 😊👌
A bit of bush driving without the extreme tracks is nice at times. Enjoyed the video again.
Loving the little cooking segments!
Awesome!!! Great video Tyler!! Thanks for sharing with the rest of us!
Nice change from the tougher Four Wheeling that you have been doing. Some stunning scenery out that way, makes me want to get up there even more.
One of my favourite vids Tyler & Kai! Ive followed you from the beginning and can't wait to head out to the tops in my new rig in a few weeks. Just picked up the new BT-50 and all the work starts next week with the rear canopy going on first.. Doing what you love mate and making a living, you deserve it all. Respect..
How magic are all these spots you’ve stopped at for camp and lunch! Bloody amazing mate, very jealous.
GREAT to be back on Sunday mornings 🌄, Another great video 📹 👍 😀
Lived in The Hunter Valley for 12 years and spent many weekends camping up there absolutely loved it got caught a few times when it snowed there but that made it even more fun for the kids, a very memorable occasions for the kids, they are in their 30,s now but still talk about our camping trips.
Another great one Tyler and love the cooking bit, I cook the same kind of food but not completely vego. I’m amazed at the lack of traffic in this video, normally Barrington is hectic…but then times are far from normal.
"Mate, can I have some veggies with my chickpeas . . . ?!"
Priceless Kai !!! 👍🤣
😂
While I'm not really into the hard core 4WD you do and prefer your overlanding videos, I still watch all of them as you share a lot of info and tips on the areas you visit which are very helpful. Giving me some ideas which places to avoid etc. 👌
Loved this series thanks Tyler. It's all places that I've been and intend going back to. It's been awesome watching you get through these areas. I can't wait to get back into these beautiful areas.
Awesome! Thank you!
I loved it . Nice part of NSW . Keep up the good exploring your backyard
I love watching you guys 4x4 it’s so exciting and I love how much fun you guys are having
Warning, if Tyler says the water is cold then it must be really really cold 🥶 😂😂😂. Great video mate, some food exploring up there 🤠👍. Cheers shad 🍻
😂😂 thanks mate!
I gotta say it, Tyler Thompson > 4WD24/7. This is the sort of 4WDing I love, not just bashing rigs. Glad I stumbled across you mate.
Goooooood morning mate, we have been lookin forward to this one!
Another quality video mate, Barrington tops is now on my list. Never stop putting in the outtakes. Keeps it real 👊💥👊
Much appreciated
Thanks for the video's, never boring.
I always enjoy the Barrington Tops videos, it's such a beautiful place, and I can't wait until I can get out there myself.
Glad you like them!
Tyler I am loving the cooking segments! You need to make your own recipe book, everything looks delicious! Keep up the great work!
Great scenery, love Barrington tops.👋 Thanks for taking us there in these strange times.
Thanks for watching mate!
aren't those mountains just incredible!!
Another top class vid mate. I agree about having variety in your content. It’s the reason many people enjoy your vids. Well done!👍
Thanks mate!
Another entertaining and informative video Tyler. Thanks.
I Always enjoy the approach you take to presenting your vids Tyler , no performance to camera just speaking normally and always informative
I will be doing the tops next year
I appreciate that!
Been a local to Armidale I first watched your last video of my backyard down Goregous junction and the Mcleay river and loved it mate!! Ever since I’m hooked on every one of your trips I can’t get enough of this channel 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks mate!
You’re right, Barrington looks just like the Vic High Country! Time for you to come visit us again.
Great series mate, well done. Thanks for the journey...
I love it how you tell it the way it is no frills and your canopy has shit everywhere like normal people.
That’s some excellent drone footage and footage in general.
We love it up there, its always a treat.... your intro shows why the Barrington Trail is closed for half the year.... :)
When I was a little tacka traveling with my parents, it was mums big thing to swim at every possible location. I used to be full into it with her and as I got to travel the world it was my mission to swim at every new opportunity. But somehow now it my 40s, it's the last thing on my mind unless it's scorching hot or I need a wash haha. Life's a funny journey in itself. 🤙
Awesome effects presented with the drone in action……
Great video mate keep em coming
Looks like an Awesome place with Awesome scenery 👍🍻
Looks amazing. Great video 👌 - Cheers Mark
Great stuff Tyler 👏
Beautiful location, awesome scenery. Great episode as always mate. 👍👌
Thank you 👍
Sounds like you know the place well Tyler thanks for sharing this with us, never been ourselves from VIC but perhaps one day soon.
Great video mate, keep it up. Really love your content absolutely great footage and most importantly. You drive your car safely and not trying to break things or roll your car like certain other channels that make things look harder the they are.
Yeah a bit of variety is good. I'm not into hard core 4WDing anymore. These days I prefer to go where there is little chance my vehicle can get damaged. But I still like to go exploring and go to areas least explored. Your videos tend to show me which tracks I'd like to do and which tracks to avoid. Thanks mate. 👍
No problem mate!
Thanks for taking us on your trip mate. Great series. I really enjoyed it. I'm gonna have to get on to drifta for one of those chopping boards now😃
Cheers mate! Yep they are awesome 👌
Loved the series Tyler. I'll definitely be getting up to Barrington myself over the summer.
Thanks mate, its an awesome spot!
Be careful of snakes in summer champ
Loved this episode Barrington is one of my favourite places will definitely try the alternate drive from the top to Gloucester. The damper cooking had my boys in stitches keep up the great work.
Thanks mate, glad you guys enjoyed it!
Cold water swims are so good for you, it's medically proven. Even in winter I will jump in the rivers where we camp. The boy doesn't know how lucky he is, what am awesome dad!
Beautiful drive down through Curricabark Rd. Thats where i grew up. Just near Woko National Park.
Great vlog !
Another ripper Tylz! Keep up the good work, loving the content. 🤙🏼
Appreciate it!
Nice vid Buddy, the lighting was special. Drone shots on your way out was awesome. Your cooking has "diversitized! Love all of your content, appreciate the challenges down there. Keep it up, great work.
Awesome! Thank you!
Great again mate
Good advice. Went there before the lockdown…. Thanks
Beautiful filming Tyler! Looks like a fantastic trip! Btw, you need to check out how to ‘pop a pepper / capsicum’ to avoid getting the seeds in your chopping 👍🤙👌
What’s going on Big Fella, I’ve been waiting ever so patiently for ya next epic clip😜
Another top video 😎
Not feeling so bad now. I had a crack at the obstacle at 26:00 and didn’t get up either. You’ve done well finding those other tracks. Great content as always mate, thank you!
Thank you!
Loved the Damper mate 😂!!
Good Job mate. I swam in Mossman Gorge once and the water was just as cold. I thought I was going to die two seconds after jumping in. Takes guts hey!!
Quality vid... Great enjoyable series... Lockdown over soon... Get ready. Cheers
Thanks 👍
Couple of nice photos there of the Nav in the pine forest Tyler. 👌👌👌😉
This is a refreshing video mate. Not all of us are into full blown 4wd’ing tracks where one needs to spend $30k on their vehicle before attempting them. Definitely enjoy the scenic spots and the fresh running water etc! Great spot!
Thanks mate!
Thanks for sharing Tyler and Malakai, your videos are always worth watching, cheers
Thanks mate!
Spot on mate 👍 🏴
Nice work mate beautiful country down there loved it champ 🤙🙏🇦🇺
Thanks 👍
awesome video m8...really like that you keep it real with your young fella, with a mix of meals, tracks and amazing camp sites - happy for you to let us know the secret spots :)
Thanks mate!
Hi Tyler, thanks for another great video. I really like your easy going attitude, nothing seems a problem.
I can’t take to the freezing river swims. Lol.
Keep up the great work/fun.
All the best
Regards Peter.
I appreciate that!
Legend brother. Love your content.
Much appreciated
Great video man. Damper turned our awesome. Our kids love camping as well looking forward to getting out an adventuring soon.
Cheers mate 👌
Awesome videos. Great to see some vego campfire dishes. Can't believe you've only got 49k subscribers. Once the word gets out your channel is going to go ballistic. Keep up the good work, enjoying every video you make.
Thanks mate!
So nice to hear someone pronounce Chichester correctly!! It is Chi- short “i”, not Chai like the tea. My family are from Chichester in the UK, and I was horrified that locals mispronounce the name! Good on you!
Great effort on the axe Kai 👍
Keep up the cooking segments Tyler . 👍
Your doing more for NSW tourism than any Sydney centric ad ! We’re in Brisbane.
Great video mate and I can't wait for the country to open up so I can get down there.
PS. I had to sit through a 30min Clive Palmer ad ha ha ha
Thats rough 😂
Loving this series mate
Next time you do a damper try putting some choc chips in it
We live in Gods Country Tyler so many good places to go to
Nice one Tyler - Thanks also for backing out of a boghole rather than going for the extra views and likes.
Cool 👍✌
I was watching this video and I thought everything looked familiar and I’d seen this video before and then remembered I’d watched it on patreon , silly me 😂😂😂 awesome view still
😂😂
Not sure what’s better the beautiful bush or that beard mate lol nice vid
Great vid Tyler. I'll take trip up that way and explore now that house arrest is ending.
I love that area, but haven't visited much in the last 7 years. My last visit was spoilt by over-populated camp grounds and yahoo's partying all night. Now I get to spend more weekdays camping it's time to return and learn to love the place again.
Yep much quieter up there during the week!
Well Done Malakai, as usual.
Sick video mate, now keen to take myself there and of course not in your spots haha!
Good day
alway very good content , I also have n nissan Navara 2.3 4x4 but from South Africa
Hey Tyler. Watching your video was worth putting myself through listening to Clive Palmer rabbit on about the United Australia Party for 20mins 😜
When the borders are open properly have you got any plans of doing a series in Qld, as you know we have heaps of places to tour/camp etc...
Really liked this vid, again great locations. Living the dream !!!!
Great work Tyler.👍
Yep definitely mate!
G'day Tyler,I 've enjoyed this series as it's pretty much my backyard(not that I don't enjoy other locations).I cut my 4wding teeth on Barrington Tops and I still get up there a bit. That spot on the corner hole on the Manning River is a beauty.I camped there one night over the October weekend.Fair dinkum it was so quiet up there for that time of year for obvious reasons.Someone left a big BBQ plate there which I used but didn't keep.Gary should hit the water up there for a trout or two.Bit of a change in diet for you lot lol! Oh and by the way the Manning River is known as the Gummi( GUM-EYE) on the Tops.Keep up the great work mate and safe trails.
Thanks mate, appreciate it! It is an awesome area up there 👌
Your daughter looks like she's having a wonderful time with you
Absolutely love this adventure you took here. We are heading down to Barrington in 2 weeks. Any chance you could tell me the name of where you stayed that first night at the lookout. Looks incredible! Just struggled to find it myself. Keep up the work 😄
Tyler, great vids, thanks for pointing out your rough route on a map, please always give some info that let's people like me know roughly where you went. I lead lots of 4x4 trips for my club and am always looking for ideas near Sydney.
Cheers mate!
It's amazing how long it takes to repair a dirt road in Australia, after a land slip or a small burnt out bridge. Like the Barrington Tops, there are some more examples on the Far North Coast of NSW. After two or three years, the repairs have not been started. It's embarrassing in a first world country.
Yeah it takes a while 😅
@@TylerThompson90 To say the least. 2000 years ago, the Romans would have done a mush faster job.
@@CamperKev and the road would still be there for a few hundred years or more.
Very cool to see the echidna, somewhat disappointing to see all those invasive Norway spruce trees around- or maybe it's not that far from a plantation?
From 10:15 to 10:22 that’s my families property, that first track at 10:15 is called adams trail, it goes down the bottom of the mountain then starts to go back up, after 5 or so minutes of driving back up along that track you would have came across a little hut
G'day mate, absolutely love your content - thank you for creating it! Could you please share the location of that first camp site in this video? I'm keen to head there myself in a couple of weeks. Cheers!
I actually prefer just this style of your vid’s… just exploring, I also watch because of your time you spend with your boy @ Dad…. A lot of people no longer “Get out there”
Cheers mate
The edge of the world is in Tasmania tyler 😉 lol
Love you
Should have thrown a bit of garlic and some of those herbs into the damper mix….nice
