Not been there for years, it is stunning. Great music to match in. Hope you are both having a great time on your tour. Cheers
Very good camera work Graham 👌
Only ever been in to the Abbey itself just the once, as part of then NT membership, but been since just to the deer park, alongside as that’s FOC. Near enough on my stomping ground really. Gary took some brilliant HDR photos of the crypt if I recall.
Fountains Abbey is where first joined the National Trust many years ago, beautiful place. Old Henry has a lot to answer for
Great vid..well put together and great music. The Abbey arches remind me of a couple of weeks ago when driving to Hornsea site diverting via York ring road to avoid big queues due to Leeds fest and to cut a long story short ending up in York city centre towing an 8m twin axle and ending up facing the medieval city walled gate arches....and they looked great too. Look forward to the next vid .
We visited here a good few years ago now and we went to Staunton Harold Church close by too. Henry VIII has a lot to answer for ! Nice to see it again Graham with the appropriate sound track 😁. Thanks for sharing. All the best, Rob & Gail
We went there at the beginning of July and it is stunning! Can't believe you didn't walk on from the Abbey to the water gardens and see the statues, etc. There is a lovely tea room at the end, which overlooks the lake. That is equally beautiful. Maybe you did, and it's the next vlog?
No didn’t do that, we always plan to go back to places, so like to save some for next time 🙂
Looks amazing loved the music and the video is it just me or was anyone else waiting for Derek Acorah to pop out with the most haunted team 😂😂
Haha. “I'm getting a message from John”
“I dont know a John”
“No wait it's a James”
😄
They don't build them like they use to lol
The North Yorkshire Moors site is our go to place and has been for almost 25yrs, we just love Whitby and the surrounding area can’t wait until we get back for our 33rd wedding anniversary at the end of September. If that is the site you’re staying on a trip down to the cafe in the woods is worth the walk although be warned, it’s bloody steep coming back up the hill.
Wouldn’t mind being the window cleaner there 👀
I am in Black Horse Farm C&M Club site watching your vlog just relaxing like you should be, bear in mind you are now retired and need to calm down a bit. You are now an old timer and you need pipe and slippers to feel in tune with nature. 😎
Thanks for watching. I hear you 😆Doing my best to relax, but we have a number of things to sort out. Once they are done, I can relax properly 😄
Influencer alert. Think we are now going to book a weekend away there in the near future. Not that far away either
Thanks for watching. I’ll update me CV as I’m now officially an influencer 😮
Wow. That place looks massive. It is stunning as it is but could you imagine how impressive it must of been back in the day. The only thing missing from this vlog was some drone shots of the site. Thanks for showing us Graham .
Thanks for watching. Not sure. National Trust would allow drones…It is stunning and I knew nothing about it before I saw it…
Hope you enjoy Whitby Graham best wishes, like the new transition shots , and the Abbey .
