I've listened to probably over half but less than 2/3, thin on their early fare - I started getting into them circa 2017, only seen them once at Forest Hills in Oct 2022 (they don't play the northeast USA very often, & I wasn't spending $200 + parking for that Boston fest last summer since they only played 75 min's & all the other earlier bands on the bill were AWFUL). I figure on accomplishing all this before my 5 show mini tour in August (2x Forest Hills Marathons, Boston, Portland ME Philly).

I know what you mean but the reality is it is very hard to do. Aus has a very small population of live music lovers, very few major cities/festivals, very high wages for staff (sound techs, venue staff, bar staff etc), huge insurance and liability costs, let alone the costs of getting between each major city with all of your gear. It is a sad truth that when a band gets big enough they have to leave Aus cause otherwise there is no more growth to be had. We produce some of the best bands/musicians in the world, but our economic and structural landscape cannot compete with USA or Europe. Gizz do massive shows when in Aus, they even ran a festival called Gizzfest in Melbourne for years. But had to end it as the expenses outweighed the profits.
the best thing of watching those lizard is seeing how their energy comes from this simple, yet profound source of enjoying/wanting to jam and smash stage

C'est vrai que la flûte de Stu peut parfois faire penser à Ian Anderson et Jethro Tull ,mais King Gizzard a vraiment une telle diversité de styles musicaux et une productivité incroyable, j’en reste sur le flanc, ce sont des gros bosseurs. À titre personnel ma référence dans le rock, c'est Frank Zappa .
