The way Cosby just walks in like a zombie and freezes, in the very first second, is unintentionally hilarious. Further hilarious, is that nowhere in the actual song does it go "Eh, Man!"
This is when there was one television with no cell phones for private entertainment. So therefore EVERYONE in the house had to watch/listen to the same thing, even if they didnt particularly like it. Even the head of the household Dr Huxtable had to respect the fact his daughter had company over and had the TV on before he got into the room. Different times for sure
This scene and Denise’s car scene were the funniest scenes I’ve ever seen in the 8 years of this show. It’s also right up there with Frasier running with scissors in “Cheers” Season 7.
What’s so funny was about 15 years ago my family and I went on a cruise to Cozumel Mexico and this song was playing at the beach. I was like do y’all remember this song and my mom and Aunties said I say aye mon and we fell out laughing. Of course, the first thing that pop up when we heard this was the Cosby Show. 😂😂😂😂
