  • This film documents my father's experiences in World War II as a young RCAF bomber pilot whose 4-engine Halifax was attacked and shot down by an Me262. He and his crew were captured and ended the war in Stalag Luft I. Long after the war, my father searched for the German pilot who had shot him down and made a surprising discovery. The film also features interview material with three other members of his crew.
The film is based on my father's two memoirs about his participation in the war:
"The Cradle Crew" and "Who Shot Down EQ-Queenie?" by Kenneth K. Blyth

Thanks so much for doing this Jeff. It is excellent. I knew the broad strokes of the story from my father Jim Taylor, but still learned much. Sorry, I never got to meet your father, nor, I think, much of the crew. I plan on visiting Barth one day to pay my respects.
