    A tip to new planner babes: get a pack of the elastic headbands from the Dollar Tree to use as a band around your planner. You usually get abt 4/6 to a pack in all different colors!! So much more affordable....

    I have top tab dividers like “Parking Lot” for long term actionable tasks divided into lists. I have “The Vault” which is in the back for important reference info (insurance, medical, logins, skincare products I like). I have “The Dump” for brain dumps and notes.
    I can’t just plan. I have to get it all out of my head and capture everything then move it to the right section and have everything together.

      Right! I also like that her videos aren't 45 minutes long, like other planners. Honestly, who wants to watch super long videos of people putting stickers in their planners?

    Love your planning style
    I think this is my style, as well. I like how your stickers add some color and style without turning your planner into wallpaper.😉

    I like how you've incorporated bullet journaling into your planner. I've always been interested in bullet journaling but I don't want to add another book in with all the other planners that I haven't used yet.

    I have every intention of using my Happy Planners as Bullet Journals! I purchased inserts alongside the planners themselves. I love how pretty your planner looks while still being functional! I'm not into stickers and don't plan on using them, but it's nice to see someone who actually uses her planners for their intended function, not as art books.

    Thanks for the great tips. I use my mini happy planner note pages to track different things like different fonts page, favorite bible verses, reusable grocery list, year in pixels, books read in 2020, when was the last time...,bills tracker, habit tracker and 10 questions to ask before planning.

    I always had that problem where I want to put a deadline on myself but I'm not sure exactly how long certain tasks are going to take. Using sticky notes is a very good idea.

    My hubby looks at me sideways when I use my planner, he's very techy and uses his phone, but I'm visual and love my planner, but I forget to bring mine most of the time.

    Hello,
    Loved this video. I have picked up my planner and was determined to make it more functional. I combined my bullet journal and my happy planner together. I like the happy planner because I can insert things, I couldn't do that with the bullet journal. Also I use the line paper to write notes just as your video explains.
    Your video aligns with what I have implemented for the end of this year and for my next years of using my bullet journal/happy planner.
    Thanks,

    Thank you for showing how you functional plan. I needed to see this. I haven't decided on a book bound, wire bound, or disc bound style yet. Each is a committment and I want a 1 and done for now. How stable are the discs? Do they pop out with normal wear and tear?

    • @arianefrechette1156
      @arianefrechette1156 5 лет назад +3

      Michelle Crouch I’ve used a disc bound planner for 2 or 3 years now and the discs are stable. I’ve never had discs pop out.

    • @pinkmagicali
      @pinkmagicali 5 лет назад +2

      I just got some and as long as you have a hard front and back it’s pretty easy. I like it because I can shift the pages around and replace them if I botch it. I hate messy pages. If you’re happy to have everything in one spot then the spiral bound ones would be fine. For me I like to change things around and add pages. Depends on how much you want in your planner and how customised you want it. This vid has some great ideas for layouts. A warning though...planners are addictive. Lol. 😉
