And just because he is a fictional character doesnt mean his world couldnt be a possible reality one could tap into. The whole laws of physics have to be the same bull crap makes no sense when it just boils down to being an alternate timeline rather than an alternate dimension/reality where one would assume anything could happen even things from fiction. And even to the point where if someone were to try to weaponize another realitie's tech or magic in our reality it would fail due to the limitations of our reality preventing us from being able to take full advantage of such tech or magic. Each dimension or reality has its own rules and the only way we could cross over to another reality is if it had similar rules to our reality. Not 100% the same but just enough to ensure the travel between realities. To use fiction as an example lets say there are 3 pokemon realities 2 with hoopa and one without and the hoopaless world and one of the hoopa worlds has ash traveling the world to be a topcoordinator in stead of pokemon master. So you could go from reality A to reality b because both realities have Hoopa. You cant go to reality C from reality A because Hoopa doesnt exist in reality C. However those in Reality B can cross to reality C because B has multiple methods of interdimensional travel with one that matches what Reality C can do.
