One of America's most wanted fugitives, mafia captain Nicholas Corozzo or 'Little Nick' surrendered himself after escaping a massive, pre-dawn arrest of 62 mobsters earlier this February.
By far the biggest catch in the FBI s net was John D'Amico, also know as 'Jackie the Nose'; a Godfather-esque member of the notorious Gambino mob-family. Yet, some view the FBI 'take-down' with suspicion, "To me it seemed like theatrics. I think that their tactics are just as crooked and just as corrupt as the criminals they're arresting," says Laura Garafolo whose father was murdered by hit-man Sammy Gravano, who escaped 19 life sentences by turning witness against the Gambino family. "Some law officials do have this romanticised notion of organised crime it's sort of a love-hate relationship" says talk show host Curtis Sliwa, who survived two attempted murders by the mafia.

I've seen Curtis Sliwa (the guy on this video wearing the red beret) in person getting off a train in Times Square. That was AFTER he got shot and went after the mafia. That guy has balls of steel. He has been vocal for decades here in New York. I'm glad he is still alive. But, how he has survived up to this point is an amazing story within itself.

It was about a fundamental difference about what is written in the constitution of the state and about what is represented as constitutional to what the state is or is about. Such a constitution differs very much to the fundamentals of Organised MAFIOSO Crime, Crime Syndicates, The Commission or Murder Inc. Those four criminal organisations all have victimisation & crime as fundamental to their core organisation and thousands of members. I was not saying the State or Federal law was not used by some representatives of the State or Federation for criminal gain. Nor that certain individuates of the supposed government were not also doing crime. So I was not attaching any value to either. Not crediting either with being good or better or right. The comparison for an elected governing body versus that of the criminal gangster organisations was left for the readers to determine their own views about if one was good or bad. But my opinion is the fact the gangsters call them selves criminals and active members of an organised criminal group speaks volume it self. So it's not hard for some to determine who the bad guys are. As they seem to call them selves criminals (Or the bad guys). But that is just a look at the core fundamentals of their codes of business. I could write about a Manhattan Youth group's policy for their members but if it turned out that a handful of those young members plotted to blow-up the empire state building (could be an inflatable plastic Empire State Building) then clearly others may deem that plot if carried through as a criminal plot. Therefor their intended plot differed from the core values of the youth group. Likewise with government organisations. There may be some criminals and their actions have differed from those of the actual constitution. Some may say it is the G-men doing it. But it may be a handful. A few. So there may be a great difference between the actions of those few corrupt G-men and the G-man policy as pertaining to actual Government legislation. So what I was looking at there was not the actions of certain individuals or small groups with in but the overall policy of both groups with in your question.

I saw a large group of those GA dudes in Manhattan around May 89 in the early evening going down in to the subway, presumably to begin their patrols down there for the evening.
