SRV And Jimmy are not in a competition.
      Just Enjoy the music.
and Jimmy taught Stevie how to play and Stevie from there made his name
and so did Jimmy in his own right.
Both came from same Music Genre and had different journey.
Instead of looking who is legend, they both gave us a great memories and musical experience.

A couple years ago, Texas Flood: The Inside Story of SRV authors Alan Paul and Andy Aledort, did an online group chat to promote the book, and their perspective on Jimmie’s career was insightful. (That entire hour-long chat is interesting and worth a listen, full of insight on the SRV world.)

Glad we still have a Vaughan here on earth with us but I wont be sad when he gets to Jam with his little brother again.

Hey,..been a fan of you and your band since, before your famous brother hit the scene. The Fabulous Thunderbirds, are always cued up on my stereos,......I survived a double bi-pass, heart surgery, that happened when I was just 47. I'm still hanging on and I'm 69,..now. I saw your band perform in my town when ever you guys were here,......in Columbus, Ohio. I was also blessed to have seen Stevie perform in 1988, when he was in a small town venue outside of Columbus, Ohio. The warm up band, was the famous Joe Cocker,.....who I had been fan of, eons before your talented brother, was well known. Carry on, my man!
