I wish a version of the live performance was available somewhere. It is much more spirited. I think that combining acting with musical performance really brings the latter to life. Not that this version isn't pretty great, but it just cannot stand up to the extra emotional oomph from the film. The lyrics are such a great distillation of the films central thesis about the internal war between Rebecca Adamynski and her persona Becky Something.
