He really does have this uncanny ability to just suddenly appear out of nowhere. This is of course assuming his power unit doesn't kill itself without warning.
Given what's happened at Toronto in the past (the 96 race specifically), seeing a car go flying had some serious pucker factor. So good to see Ferucci was fine.
I was there, with all those blind corners, concrete walls and bumps I'm surprised no one died. If you didn't lift the bumps would throw you into the wall it was crazy.

Will, make a comedy review of that Belgian gp where 80% of the cars crashed on the first corner for us. I still remember Barrichelo running with his jumper seat towards the third car. It would be awesome to have comedy reviews of old gps while f1 goes into hibernation.
Were there any yellows before Ferrui's flight? The red seemed to come out rather slowly, you'd assume instant race stoppage with a massive crash like that but hearing the announcers telling whoever it was to just stay put and not spread debris was hilarious EDIT: Oh yeah that big crash was like the field saw the 07 pileup and went nah we can do this but bigger and better. And that was the end result. Shades of Long Beach 2014
According to IndyCar the yellow was called when Ericsson hit O'Ward, but it was delayed getting to the drivers and the marshalls who were also diving for cover.
Being a half Irish / half French (aka half Alcoholic / half Racist) who hates the French (and the brits, oh and both North and South Koreans), I rarely get to follow a racing driver in most sports who I feel represents me. So generally I pick drivers based on skill, vibe and attitiude. And you are one of the guys who got me back into Indycar (Alonso too). So naturally I disliked Santino. But bit by bit he started to grow on me and became one of my favourits. And watching you find new ways to shit on him after every race just makes my day and is usually one of the reasons why I keep watching your reviews. Keep it up!
Daly wasn't available this weekend. He was running in the NASCAR trucks and Xfinity series. Herta's had a combination of bad luck and lack of patience all this season, glad he pulled one out.
The 4th and 5th Ganassi cars are ineligible for the leaders circle- I think you get to have your cake and eat it too, with Malukas and Sting Ray in the leaders circle for the moment.
At some point every Indycar driver will be following Will on Twitter (I refuse to call it its stupid name) and he will not be able to talk bad about any of them anymore, probably resulting in him imploding due to not being able to make the funny "Indycar drivers are bad/ blind" jokes anymore.
This race should never have happened. The "track" is a disaster, too narrow, with insufficient runoffs. And the resulting barrier walls are so high that spectating is compromised, and God only knows what drivers think about driving in what amounts to a continuous tunnel. Even Monaco seems more competitive, even reasonable, by comparison. Indycar should remove Toronto from the schedule until it builds a real race track. It's Canada's biggest city, but as usual, is outclassed by Montreal and its amazing circuit.
Keepin' it real? I actually prefer the gay disco intro Will uses for the F1 content, instead of the old tv sports intro he uses for Indy cars. It just really gets my racing juices flowing.
That Will Power move was nasty. Saw this race as the first full length indy car race and despite it being quite entertaining, it was embarrassing to see they drive like the mor*ns on our local karting track.
Indycar, can’t decide if it wants to be NASCAR or formula 1… get rid of the ovals or get rid of the circuits and find an identity as either the open wheel NASCAR or American formula 3
In the case of the big pile up, it was a blind corner and they didn't throw yellows in time. Pato spinning shouldn't have caused a 4 car incident, it wasn't entirely on the drivers this time honestly
Man. I feel for Indy. Will's videos have peaked my interest in it, but what the fuck are these tracks man....they seem terrible. Get these guys on an actual race track, to you know, race...
I watch all Different type series of Motorsports , indy car is some of the most unprofessional sloppy racing I see in a regular basis , the whole series should be embarrassed at what show of racing they offer, it looks like it’s everyone’s first time in an Indy car and first time at any track they run, the racing craft level is not acceptable, they should just commit to protecting all the wheels and go full contact bumper car racing , I’ll tune in for that for sure
Indycar is a fun series but like most racing series the announcers definitely leave viewers wanting alternatives 😂, I'm thinking grab the F2 or F3 announcers at least they are entertaining 🤷♂️love the channel Will 👍
