    Maybe you have done this in your video about making builds but after playing D3, PoE, and D4. I have had the most fun totally picking a play style I like and just making a full build on my own. But a few thousand hours in PoE might have made these things more digestible. There is gonna be a lot of D4 people come try this game, personally I think people should skip build guides maybe just learning the game blind. I mean these videos you have here are great supplementary stuff to help. But I’d encourage anyone who likes ARPGs just wing it and it feels 169% more increased rewarding. (Just now went to your channel and found build guideline videos and you start it off saying that exactly lol. I hope people take that advice it feels pretty special in this game)

    Thanks for the videos! I'm really wanting to do Merchant's Guild because I love trading. Picking out what is going to sell is going to be key. I wish I knew more about all the builds and the items needed for them but, a good loot filter will be a start.

      As a general rule for what's good for other builds, it can't hurt to recolor everything that drops with "+X to Certain Ability", or other ability-specific affixes.

    I've been asking myself how to setup my loot filter for 1.0 and I quite like what you are showing.
    However it feels like the path to level 75 might be a bit overwhelming in terms of quantity. Especially around level 55 to 75.
    I might try it out on a "test run" to see how it feels and potentially add/change rules for my build.
    As much as I love the loot filter in game I wish they improve it one day to make it clear from within on which item slot each affix is capable to roll. Don't get me wrong it's probably the most user friendly loot filter out there but it could still improve as the game doesn't exactly tell you "hey max health is really good in this game" for instance.

    • @jetah50
      @jetah50 9 месяцев назад

      problem is if someone wants to play a low hp build the "max health is really good" wont apply to them.

    • @dylanstanfill2897

      I mean, health is generally the most important stat in like all games. When you run out of it, you die, so yeah. Build a lot. Low health builds are an exception of course, but you're just replacing your health pool with ward. Point is, it should be really obvious.

      What's really good all depends on build though and all you gotta do to figure out what is really good for your build is look at the tags when you hover over the skill and read a bit.

    Figured it out by myself but good vid to show others. i used dammits filter wizard in LE tools then adjusted it to my liking. id like a copy rule to another filter though.

    Is there a new version off this loot filter,, or is it good to go??

    • @TheCurseBG
      @TheCurseBG  9 месяцев назад +1

      It needs to be updated after 1.0 is live - I can't do it without the patch. So you'll have to review the affix conditions that are meant to include all class specific affixes

    I don't get it. This loot filter simply HIDES all items on the ground. I can see uniques etc but i simply cannot grab them. Whatever loot filter i create. And holding X to deactivate the loot filter doesn't work

      @@isa_lim It was actually easier. I had a corrupted / outdated loot filter in my folder and it caused all other ones to act randomly. I found it, deleted it and everything's back to normal

    • @dylanstanfill2897
      @dylanstanfill2897 9 месяцев назад

      I mean, there's like a click or two in between, it's definitely not complicated if you have the loot filter you want picked out, then there should be a long ass code to copy, then you just paste it in the thing in game. Boom. Done. If you mean make your own loot filter, rather than import an existing one, then yeah that's more complicated.

    good highlights, but still way too much rare trash showing compared to build specific filters. I added a hide to all magic items above level 20 at the bottom and also added recolors just above the hides for affixes with 2 3's or 3 2's for level 21 and under, 3 3's or better for level 31, and 2 4's or better under level 60. It's cleaned up a lot of the clutter and while I might miss something useful, it shouldn't be anything too valuable.
