I really hope it will become the norm to make your own build and I'm thankful that you have been an advocate for it for a while now. It's fine for people to adhere to the meta but I don't think it serves the game when the meta becomes suffocating to the point 99% of people are following build guides.

With the last league, that was much easier to respec with gold(in addition of orb of regret) so was already solved actually.

I loved your earthquake BM build, I have never played POE before, so I'll be looking forward to your videos on it when early access is out and probably trying out one of your build guides!

Fyi, Flicker Strike now consumes power charges to use, and you don't gain charges while using it so it's more of a burst skill. And totally agree PoE 1 has becoming a walking sim, but also a crafting sim xD Definitely hope the pacing is solid and not zoom 'n boom. Full on Sorc for me! Good luck on launch, and stay sane Exile

When I saw the whole presentation, the vibe of the game felt to me like "this should have been diablo 3". I will Play eather witch, mercenary or warrior. I like minion builds or brute warrior. But the shooting with mercenary looks awesome, van Helsing style.

You know I feel like RUclips guides and rushing content mentality has ruined a lot of games for people by not letting them discover the games themselves. I discovered your channel with your guides on Last Epoch theorycrafting (offense and defense basics IIRC) and I LOVE that you promote self creativity and build discovery. I plan on basing my approach to POE2 the same way - taking my time and discovering things. The only guide I would trust is one coming from you in the same vein as the offense and defense basics as the learning curve is very steep. But I really think this game can be one the greatest theorycrafting experience and less punishing than POE1. As for classes, I'm definitely going mercenary at some point it's so creative to have a "FPS" character i wanna see how it feels ! Still can't decide on subclasses though.

POE 2 seems to have more emphasis on ground loot. Something else that you may enjoy is a mana-stacking chayuula monk class using Ravenous Doubts (instant mana leech) with the reworked MoM (100% of damage taken going to mana before health). Idk if they have said that the ES leech will be instant or not. Im also interested in the cdr of Tempest Caller to see if it could be a primary damage source or if it will be something more used to proc skills / fluff clearing damage. Either way assuming shock works the same way as poe 1 it should be easier to hit shock cap which for the sorceress would be 100% increased damage taken (assuming shock works the same). It would also be interesting to see if you could get an infinte cast on crit setupusing Tempest caller Warbringer's node: Great Wolf's Howl might be interesting if they have General's Cry from poe1

Hello. Thank you for the great build! I used it to create my own alternate version with "Dragorath's Claw" as a main weapon. After you invest in "Lighting Aegis" on the skill tree - it is activated whole the time, giving you great defense + dmg boost constantly. Additionally "Final Spark" skill detonation perfectly speed up the cleaning regular mobs during farming.

This video got me back into D4, I booted it up and was quite surprised that i actually like it now. It's no LE or PoE but making builds on the new spiritborn has been fun. There are fun interactions to be found, they're just not in the extremely simplistic skill tress. The worst thing is that I'm too cool for D4, this is giving me an identity crisis.

After been using your builds for ARPG games for the past two years, because i suck at these games, its really great to see you play something i've played for years, Factorio. :D "The table have turned now" ;) i have played Factorio since 2014 and its still my favorite game of all time. The game is NOT for everyone, but people should give it a try.

I don't get it, how did you not defeat Orybiss and restore Eterra?

I was doing the rip blood/wandering souls synergy, super cool. Around level 25 I found that the global damage over time buff from inflicting spirit plague felt better, for enhancing wandering spirits, base cthonic fissure, and tormented damage. Haven't tested carefully to see where the transition is, or if this is just personal preference as opposed to a mechanical difference, but I thought it was pretty good.

Your build gave me my first Aberroth kill and thank you very much for sharing this build :) While I am still building it (can't find a T7 helmet, my gloves are a bit generic, wand has only mana to ward+mana, etc), I dropped a quite decent rolled Nihilis. I put Nihilis to an egg, gave me 1LP and slam! managed to add a T7 mana, so I use your "cheaper" with Nihilis.

I noticed having a wand any higher than -3 to spell cost brings frost claw mana cost below 40. Does this mean a -4 or -5 cost wrongwarp is useless because it will disable lost knowledge and spark charges for frost claw casts?

Why u using these rings?

I've found that Surge works well with Event Horizon since it doesn't get affected by the move or cast speed penalties. It also pairs well with Flame Reave. I wouldn't say it's good, but I think there's potential.

Thanks a lot for the guide, Curse! Between you and Frozen I'm learning a lot for my Sorc. Could you please offer advice for my recent upgrade.. I managed to drop an Arcane Visage with perfect implicits and almost perfect affix rolls - T7 static orb, T5 mana spent gained as ward (could not seal and get int), T5 armour % and T5 armour + reduced damage from crits. Do you think it's still worth slamming into a 1LP gaze? (have not got 2LP yet). The extra armour, mana and ward from this Visage seems more valuable than gaze when I have base crit from rings + crystal skull.

Hi Curse, you tried twice to do the trick with Julra where you timeswap two times in a row to avoid the big oneshot attack but it didn't work. It also didn't work on my crow build (it uses swipe and tempest strike as main attack), but it works fine on other builds. Why??? My theory is that the trick doesn't work when you use melee attacks on her because it alters her AI.

P.S. the way i farm LA is as follows: 1.) farm uniques or exalts but not the same in one run. Too much loot to sort. For unique farming at LA I do this; Get one chest of glyphs and runes Then select the duplicate chest and triplicate chest mods Also select 2-3 unique in every chest mods And 4-6 duplicate all uniques mods You’ll end up with 6 chests full of runes and glyphs you can just auto pickup and auto sort. Then you have 12-24 different uniques and 4-6 copies of each one. Rinse and repeat til you get your gear. For farming exalts I select one chest of exalted help, chest, gloves, boots mod Then I select a add a catalyst to each chest mod Then a duplicate and triplicate that one chest And all my other mods will be add 20 or add 50% chance to duplicate all items on chest. I end up with all the exalts I need to slam and equip. Boom

Yeah, single target has always been the problem for this build. I think a single target boost for Firebrand would help a lot and make the build really sing.

you have missed two more multipliers in the skill tree, first one is 5 points in arcane flame for 5% more fire hit damage vs ignited and second one 4 points into frozen steel for 4% more damage vs chilled targets (with chill chance being easy to get from enchant weapon tree)

I am more of a fun of just spamming flame reave without firebrand at all, with mana regen you can be mana positively and the combination of the return node and the resulting double hit with eye of reen give so much free crit multi

I run somewhat similar flamereave build, frost claw helps abit with single target(i use unspecced flame ward). Also running bulwark of the last abyss and vessel of strife. sitting around 5.3k ward out of combat and in combat it goes up to 8k or so. Block chance is sitting at 50% with only the shield and armor mitigation with buffs is 55%. So survivability is quite good aswell.

When i was in beta i loved flamereave but as you mentioned, the single target damage is meh. If i ahve to make a firebrand inceniration build, i will chose surge , using Vaion's Chariot boots
