So I noticed that Kelly has been posting on RUclips every Sunday. So I went to see if she may have posted today. I went to the Kelly Stamps channel, and there was nothing new. Then, right before I came to this channel, I was thinking about how she literally just posted here a couple of days ago-so she probably didn’t post today. And then I look and I see that she posted 59 seconds ago lol. Perfect timing 💕
I do like uploading on Sundays! It’s a day of rest, but I film these during the week and give the grasshoppers something to watch after church or just on a relaxing day at home. 🛌
@@ambershalom33 that is false sister. Tho you are an Adventist, Jesus clearly says he is a sabbath. Read Matthew 12:1-8. .And with that we dont fight over 'a certain day for sabbath'. Also...he didnt want Christians to fight over a certain sabbath day (like the Jews) because he is that fulfillment Traditionally,. it is fine to choose a day of rest (not to be confused with a day of worship/assembly), it is up to you what day that is no matter what your church leaders tell you. Film photos just hit differently. They almost feel more real and memorable to look at than phone photos. I'll take this as a sign that I should start taking more film photos again!
Your Dad: so FOINE. You, as a toddler: SOOOOO sweetly beautiful. He looks so happy with you at his knee. He clearly put his ALL into you and it shows, as you won't accept just anything from anyone; he was your FIRST Provider and set the standard. Know that he's still with you and will be always.
🦗8:45 - Kelly, I would encourage you (and anyone watching) to say, "yes" and keep your negatives. Just tuck them away in the negative sleeves in a cool and dark space. I don't want to bore you with my long list of reasons. As a "known" person, I think it's even more important to say "yes" because it's better in the long run if you maintain control over those physical originals. Also, if you've never tried slide film before I recommend it! You'll definitely want to keep the film once you see it on a light table. Stay cool - I hope your video gets more people to give film a shot 📸🎞.
I can see that I am officially old now because I used film cameras through college (and beyond?) and chuckled at the idea that you had to teach others how to use it. Much love, from this 🦗
Awww that’s so nice! , it’s never too late to start over. I’m fully in risk mode again with this new channel and it’s nice and refreshing. It’s kind of like getting a new hairdo. Lol
Really enjoyed this video… your photography is good too! That picture of you in the mirror is SEW editorial and I’m here for it!! 🙌🏿🙌🏿 Inspired me to finally go use up the film that I have 💚
🦗 🦗🦗 I didn’t know we could get scans from film ! I’m glad film is keeping up with the times. I’d like to switch to film only and Ditch phone photos . Write the stories of the pics on the back so when your pics are passed on people will know what’s happening in them !
🦗🦗🦗 Thank you so much Senpai Stamps! I have been wondering about taking and uploading film photos and you have delivered. If I move quick enough and my coins are correct I’ll take some bday photos 🤸🏽♀️
Most of my childhood photos are lost. I love taking pictures to create great memories I don't want to forget. I even have a picture of when I injured myself while hiking 2 years ago. It wasn't a beautiful memory. I don't know whose idea it was to take a picture of that moment. (It was my dumb idea XD)
So.. to moving to Miami. Hell yes.. the gworls are here , & the perfect weather ☺️. Love this video because I literally need to start doing this . I’ve lost so many good photos of my oldest daughter just relying on a phone and iCloud . BRING BACK PHOTO ALBUMS
Studious! 🦗And I think that is a cricket. I wish I was not deep asleep when you dropped this video, because I love it! I loved the tutorial of the film camera. As someone who regularly used this kind of camera as a kid, I thought your explanation of negatives was precious. 😁 You also dropped so many gems in this video that I hope you will expand upon in future videos. 🎉
Not the camera. But the memories you want to make so you’ll older and say that was me when In my 20s. Self love radiates in the reasons why you do certain thing.
🦗🦗🦗 My dad has almost the same camera which was gifted by a Japanese tourist to him many years ago before I was born. Sadly it’s so difficult to get the films in my area, hopefully they changed a bit after I moved out. Will give an update if I get a film
I used to shoot with the Canon EOS 66.. as a poor film student shooting film was ironically way too restrictive and expensive for me so when the first Canon DSLR came out i sang praises to Jesus
🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗 I love film photography!! I was literally talking to my bf about this the other daaay. That’s why I really love your thumbnails! their are so simple but beautiful and grainy and bright lol 💖 I used to buy so many one-use only film cameras growing up! Looking back at the photos give me so much nostalgic vibes. I should invest in film camera again. Hell yeah I agree about the Mom and Pop Donuts shops! Omg I miss going to my local one I always go to every other day and just get glazed twist with small coffee or Thai tea 🤤🤤🤤 It’s only a 10 min bus ride away now but I’m trying to be bit more smart with my nutrition this year but definitely treating myself once a month won’t hurt 🤤🍩☕️
🦗😎 Your photos turned out great. I have a similar camera that I used years ago, but it doesn't work anymore. I kept it though for the nostalgia. Btw cute sweater !
🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗 walk through a field one day with a friend gang of grasshoppers jump us right outside of IHOP I guess they were repping there set 😂😂😂😂 enjoyed the video tutorial and trip down memory lane with you and your dad ❤😊
OMG! Kelly Stamps, forgive me for sounding greedy, but I must say - that "looks" like the best d@mn glazed doughnut that I have EVER seen! lol They say the "white stripe" indicates how soft & airy the dough was, and that white stripe was dang near half the doughnut! ⭕😮
I've always loved taking photos esp film snap and shoot, took some cute ones from summer 2022 in San Diego and such, but I just bought a generic brand (I believe) film camera and film from Walmart for my recent trip to Tokyo, took to my local camera shop and they turned out like complete garbage, and 12 of them were just blank. I'm so mad I thought generic would be fine, and also that they(the shop) had the audacity to charge me full price for the scans ($25 🙄🙄) anyways stick to the real photo brands I guess, I may try again another time

Mmm I did NOT think about that. I don’t have any racy film pics 😂 but still. I will agree to keep my negatives from now on.
This is literally such a perfect Sunday afternoon video to watch; it’s warm and reminiscent like a vintage film picture from the 90s 💖🦗💖🦗
