This song is so much better on stage than on the album! The punch, especially in her vocals, is much more driving it in. Like it a lot. Edit: not bad on the album either, but live performances made the song for me.

Reiterating here ITR is Tarja's masterpiece. All songs on that album are bloody good.

I confess. When I heard it first time, the song didn't much have influence on me. But in live performances it has now so much punch!! Especially what comes to her vocals. It's now very good on stage.
Another song that has really surprised me, is "You and I," the live performances are so good, no matter if she's alone with a piano (which I think is still the best) or the whole band, it's one of her best songs on stage.

@@Aurinkohirvi The songs are just so much more mature and complex. After WLB all the albums are much more progressive and full of little purposeful details. They are stories and they go somewhere. Not just disjointed sounds m. They have progression. She found her mark and is more consistent and cohesive. This one here.. the guitars are just pure groove. You and I... no words. From the lyrics to the vocal lines.

@@LigeiaNoire The disjointedness however has one obvious reason too. All of her albums have someone who co-wrote the songs with Tarja. And they differ from album to album (although Mattias Lindblom is in a writer in many songs with the two last albums). I get it that Tarja wanted to work with people she admires. But that doesn't create continuity. Maybe her own role increased with later albums, and you see this consistency.
I can't really say, because I don't have yet audio versions of her solo career rock albums. I have just live blu-rays and Beauty and the Beat. So I have never listened them one album after another.
I just figured sure you could do that in YT too, by creating play lists.

@@Aurinkohirvi Yes, she has been writing and taking care of the composing process much more and that shows. I think she finally found her place and her sound.

2:45 I love how she adjusted her placement to a belting here, shows that if she wanted she could belt amazingly
