Hello, I am aware RUclips has glitched the video at 5.38. The missing sentence is “After talking to Priddle, the two of them became firm friends” enjoy! :)
What a wonderful film, well done Paul and crew. I saw Dennis race many times throughout the 70s, from Rails to Funny Cars, what a hero and a top class engineer. A fine tribute.
Great video showing the history of the car and why you do it. Keep living the dream. 👍
Really captures the thrill and passion of a wonderful sport which is still grounded in it's roots. I loved the fact that fans and the teams are so close on race days. It's sad to see the financial pressure it's come under the last few years, what with the pandemic and raging inflation.
My first experience of nitro funny cars was Bootsie and Gladiator back in 1978 and I was hooked.
Good luck to you and your team going forward Paul.
Great video, superb tribute to Dennis, and I love what Paul and the team are doing
Beautiful video great tribute. Well done in all your hard work...
Great video, nice quality.
Gives a lovely bit of detail to the history.
What a superb film, lots of emotion filled dialogue, with a great tribute to Dennis Priddle, one of my all time hero's alongside "Big Daddy".
What an enjoyable watch and tribute to a great guy!
Awesome 🇸🇪🏴
Gorgeous little documentary Mark, well done and would love to see more!
Awesome video Mark! The shots in the garage look so good, you did a great job with the lighting there. And the editing is fantastic, love when it lingers for a few seconds after he mentions it was the last car Dennis worked on, really conveys emotion. Great stuff!
Thanks a lot! I’m really happy how it turned out and your dad was a star!
A great video, well deserved be to all involved
Great video, enjoyed that, thanks 👍
Very well done mate 👌
Great video
Great video. A really good watch and a great tribute.
Superb video.
Thank you! Means a lot
It was a magical moment at Dragstalgia with the minute silence in honour of Dennis then the silence broken with the car being fired up on the line 😎😎😎
how i miss my mate prid , from the first time we meet in around 75 till i moved to the u s a , i was lucky enough to be at the drag racing hall of fame in gainesville with him , star and peady was blown away when i heard that he had died, we worked together through the whole sprintex period , love the tribute car
He must have been a great guy! Paul has kept his soul alive in this car, happy I am able to capture it and show everyone
My late father (John ledster) knew Dennis well.
From prospective as a teenager in the late 70's it always seemed to me Dennis was the equal of bootsie in driving but allen ,with the phelps bankrolling (to a greater or lesser amount) alot of the fuel racing , was always able to risk breaking parts to go fast.
Great itnit, well done. I’m curious where the name Mr Six comes from however.
First Englishman to break into the "six second zone" in a dragster.
@@mikebaker9574 Ah, cool.
9:43 I suspect if somebody has to ask "why do you do it?" then they are never going to really understand the answer anyway.
Does the Nitro Funny Class operate in Europe ouside of Britain? I know the FIA runs a Top Alcohol championshiip bur would about Nitro Funny Car? Regards from Australia.😊
Awesome video! 👏🏼
What camera do you use?
I used a Sony FX6 for this project, great all round camera!
This was one heckuva a cool film to watch. Can't stand modern nhra fuel cars.
what a wonderful, and moving video.... thanks so much for that, really.
Appreciate the kind words :)
