Happy New year guys. I am a Kenyan living in Canada for the last 15 years. Loved this video as always. You have literrally shown the authentic Canadian fast food life
I went to McGill from 1982-1984. It was so fun to look up the addresses of the bagel and smoked meat shops to see if I had ever been to either location in Montreal! I didn't have a car back then and I don't remember going to either place, but what a trip down memory lane with your food choices and fun "road trip!" Happy New Year from Seattle, WA!
Thank U for the Montreal's food Tour I Wish had know this info before but now I can get delicious dishes in that amazing city. Greetings from Colombia.
This is an interesting Canadian food tour 💯💯 I felt so hungry after watching this video and I dived into the Kitchen and ate some crunchy broccoli and Pilau 🤓🤓 Peace and love ❤️
Really enjoyed watching this. It's only fitting that Poutine was first on the list. I still remember the first time I tried it, was a lobster poutine and in Nova Scotia, not QC! And it's odd that I liked it because like Tracy I don't like lobster. Went to grad school in Connecticut and worked for a short while in Nova Scotia, it is true the Maritimes and New England have some really good seafood.
This reminds me of my uni days in Canada, I first landed in PEI (Most people in Kenya, thought I was lying coz they had never heard of it). After 2 Winters, I was done with it despite the wonderful people and endless lobster, I moved to Victoria BC to finish my degree! I came home with two huge cans of Tim Hortons Coffee!!!😄😁
I can relate, I lived in a small town in Nova Scotia. Someone sent me a package and they said they only believed the place existed only because FEDEX confirmed the address and delivered the package. I think Tim Horton's is the only food place I didn't like, pastries too sweet and just don't like their coffee.
@@susanw497 Nova Scotia? I cannot walk into Canadian McDonald's to order a burger without knowing French first!!!! Da hell's wrong witchu people up there? Imma gonna slappa da donut frosting off yo face wit da wet spahetti. Mama Mia

I love your travel adventures, I have never seen whites who eat as much as you guys especially Tracy😂 I cannot finish the amount of food you guys eat lol but overall great job guys.
Yum! everything looked like it had 3,000,000 calories, and so delicious (except the candy with made with ground snow... :( there must be a e cleaner source of ice). Bring back some Canadian maple syrup, I need to see what all the fuss is about.
Toronto has a great restaurant scene. Come to think of it, so does Vancouver, (maybe better than Toronto's), and to some extent, so does Québec, and maybe even Montréal (although Montréal has focused on more 'niche dishes,' like bagels, & pizza). Food-wise, mostly only two cultures have made Canada what it is today: Chinese, and to a lesser extent, French. Outside of these, the third greatest positive influence on the Canadian food scene are the indigenous cultures and the many ancient local ingredients. So if you aren't going to eat "Duck Confit" or "Pâté de Foie Gras" in Québec City, or "Fried Lobster in XO Sauce" in Toronto, you'll be feasting on "Grilled Moose Steaks" in upper Saskatchewan, or "Stewed Seaweed-Berries with Salted Giant Cod" up on the coast of Labrador. Truly, Canada had a unique and underrated World-Class Culinary Scene that has yet to be discovered and explored by the more influential palettes on the planet. I just wonder which of the great (non-US) food cities will be the first to open an authentic "Canadian Restaurant," Paris, Amsterdam, Dubai, Tokyo, Sydney, Singapore, Geneva, Shanghai, Berlin, etc. My money is on Tokyo or Amsterdam. Tokyo because they are taken-in by fads there, and Amsterdam because it was the first city in Europe to open an authentic Mexican Restaurant, and because it has easier access to Canadian Ingredients. Either way, I'll be there on opening day, cash in-hand, with my mouth open and my tongue hanging out.
Is there a difference between Canadian Maple syrup and regular syrup? Tried syrup on my pancakes once, didn't like it. I'm suspecting I might have got the wrong type (bought it in Sweden). The fact that you said that you could drink it with a straw makes me think it's different.
Hello Dave my name is Gabriel from USA America 🇺🇸 to be honest I've had maple syrup cookies from Canada and ketchup flavored Doritos and Molson Canadian beer but I've never had poutine but I've always wanted to try poutine and Canada is my future home alot of interesting things in Canada and I'm also a Toronto Maple Leafs fan from NHL as an American my favorite NHL team is Toronto maple leafs that being said Canadian women are my preference 🇨🇦🍁.
