Hand Lettered Convex X | Letter Series

Painting a hand lettered convex X and creating some cool dimension using shadows and shading some gold. This one has a few techniques in it and was super fun to bring to life!

P R O C E S S
1 - blend the colors of shade
2 - paint the shadow
3 - paint the 4 shades of white to create the convex appearance
4 - paint on the gold size, wait however long you need to till it's ready to apply the gold
5 - apply transfer imitation gold to the size, remove excess gold with fan brush
6 - lightly burnish gold with velvet
7- use the same quick dry size mixed with the teeniest bit of black paint to creat the shadow over top of the gold
