I had 16 550i with m6 mufflers only. Cold start was decently quiet but on the road it would roar a little. This one sounds way better for some reason

Did you have mufflers already and went to m5 or got the car with no mufflers ?
@@jesseulloa5877 had original mufflers and got the M5 mufflers, the previous guy had welded open the valves so now they always opened

Very nice sound (turbos spooling) and the burbles with OEM. I want to instal mhd on my F10 550i 2015 but having error read their is no Rom for this engine

Doesn’t sound bad I have the muffler delete I like it. Your right about the drone tho it gets annoying on up hills but I still am going catless soon.
The first clip of the exhaust was catless , resonator delete and muffler delete. It loud enough to be heard from blocks away lol . There’s always cops around my house and I just needed something a little more low key

Also how do you think active autowerkes exhaust with x pipe would sound? Or vibrant performance muffler?
Tbh I never looked into it like that because most of this build has been budgeted lol
Be careful with Vibrant parts. They work better on 4 and 6 cylinder engines, but on a V8 they have a tendency to kill the "fun" sounds (crackle/burble) of a V8.
Did the shop have to alter the fittment? I am looking to purchase a M5 after market exhaust. Thatnks.

It’s honestly does but I feel like to a certain point it sounds like a motorcycle. It’s usually while driving, idling or reving it sounds like a monster lol

Not bad, after I finished the exhaust I can’t notice any smell in cabin 👍🏻

@@jesseulloa5877 just got the estimate back from the collision center 14k😢 basically a total loss…but I’m getting a 2012 Audi A7 definitely a downgrade power wise😒
