so in theory yes, you'd just need to find a battery system for the Pi that doesn't use up those GPIO pins, since this draws power from the Pi you would just need to get the Pi on. I haven't dug too much into battery systems for the Pi yet (outside of just using a USB C power bank which would do the trick) but I know they made UPS hats for the Pi 4 at least. USB power bank would be the easier route I bet but you'd have to make sure you find one that can output enough for a full Pi 5
