I'd add a fold down table with two hanging chairs, and a couple of bar stools (that can double as end tables) I can tuck out of the way. A sofa with chaise (on the side opposite the dining table). What a lovely, functional mountain cabin this is❣️
It’s so beautiful!! The live edge wood is something I’d never think of, but it’s so nice. Belongs in the mountain with a big deck and hot tub.👏👏 I love that beefy barn door.

It's so beautiful. I would love to live a home with all wood ...and that kind of wood...and all those windows. It is so well made. I am older adult and do not like lofts except for storage and i think they are great use of space for that ..but i would not mind at all sleeping in a bed made into a couch during day on main floor. Price is nice too . You guys should contact Kerry who showed you on his you tube a bit ago and have him show this one, if he would. People have asked for an update there on your homes and he was into it ..too. We got to see Amanda here for like a split second and..Amanda.. you look stunningly beautiful...we should get to see you more. Love your accent and the light heartedness of both of you.

You know I was thinking of ITH lately... with all of the floodings in Kentucky and people being displaced from their homes. I wish they would buy a whole convoy of IncrediBOXes. People are still being rained on and are living in tents. That would be such a ministry. I wish I were wealthy.

If I were to purchase this home, I would detach the stairs, put on wheels and open the banisters for middle access. The stairs would be against wall until needed, then moved to center for access to either loft. I agree this house will look beautiful in the Mountain.

I love this home! The counter space, the closet and the big window above the sink! I would looove if the window was a slider! I always want my windows open on nice days. Also, a bigger bathroom sink with a vanity. Women need some counter space in the bathroom, too. 😉 All in all, this one is great!
This house is just beautiful. It has everything I could ever want..a work space at one end and the sleeping loft at the other and a wide open floor plan. Like Amanda, I really love the fact that it's open and isn't all sectioned out. I also love that big picture window over the farm style sink...💙
I love the outside and of course the dormers top it off. 10 x 29 is a perfect size! My question is with this home being the size it is for up to 4 people why isn't there a small oven???
Exquisite mountain chalet. Delicious colors, gorgeous uncluttered architecture, Very attractive kitchen, bath area. Perfect for an airbnb or a single professional, even a getaway for a young couple. Not a forever home.
This is a practical home 🏡 with storage. You have to have closets, room for shoes and such. This is so beautiful and doesn't seem so claustrophobic. The 10 ft width makes a huge difference.
This would be amazing for a young family or a young person because I don't think somebody older that may have issues like arthritis and whatnot would want to deal with some of the quirks of the house for example don't want to deal with letters and don't want to have to crawl into the loft for example myself I couldn't go on my knees but other than that it's a lovely house

gotta be crazy to ask that much for that tiny little house. I bought mine for 60,000, built in 1959, all marble window sills, must have had plenty of marble at the time... 3 bedrooms, one back, laundry room, and attached garage.
Love the house...but...why only two burners on that cook top? A family needs 4 burners, especially if you don't have a full on oven. I recommend buying a large countertop oven, like the Hamilton Beach that I have, because it cooks everything! It was $60-$65 when I got mine, so it might cost more now. I still would need those extra burners. The stairs with the storage are great, too. I wish that they would find a way to have stairs instead of a ladder for the "kid's" loft. I wouldn't want kids to be climbing up and down a ladder. It would make me a nervous wreck! Lol
I had bunk beds, like zillions of other kids, for 16 years. Ladders are no big deal for most kids. As for 4 burners, a person can certainly add that. I haven't used my kitchen stove in 3 years. Not sure if it still works. I use my instapot, convection air fryer oven with rotisserie, and microwave, nearly every day, and sometimes my slow cooker for potlucks. 2 burner stove is more than enough for a lot of people.

Otherwise, you have to take up valuable cabinet space storing some of them to make a small space look less cluttered. Sure people can make due with the two burners. I was just surprised that Randy made the point of showing that you could put a big refrigerator in, all the extra kitchen storage for a "family" and then there were only two burners...it just seemed like the two didn't go together. Lol I understand what you said about the bunk bed ladder thing, too, because my kids had one. A ladder from a loft is going to be taller and more dangerous than a bunk bed ladder. I have three sons and thinking of the worst case scenario is the reason they've survived childhood! Boys can be wild! Lol I wasn't trying to mean about the house design. I've seen that most tiny houses don't have stairs to the second loft. I have seen some with one set of stairs that branches off in two directions,too. I'm glad that Randy was trying to make a tiny home that's family friendly. He definitely gets points for that. People don't always realize how rough it is for families to survive now, nevermind couples or individuals...but that's another depressing topic and definitely a big reason why I started watching Randy and Amanda in the first place! I would love to see a three bedroom tiny home. I recently saw one that was parked at lake Dallas Tiny Home community and it had two small bedrooms that fit a twin bed in each little room with a chair and a dresser and the second bedroom sat above the first and was more of a loft but still had its own enclosed space where a second child could climb up into. As a mom that has three little girls I would love an opportunity it’s to have a place for my girls and I but to give them a little space if their own. I love you guys and would love a model that you could market to single moms and or dads. It’s so scary looking at being a single parent and the costs of apartment rent and this would be an amazing option.

Think, a 30" kitchen (they make them), 2 small bedrooms that fit 30" beds on main floor for kids, a small living room for a couch to eat on and tv, loft for parents and you're good. That's only about 12' for two main floor bedrooms, 8' for living/kitchen and another 4' for bathroom total 24' stingy by 10' of 2 bedrooms main floor living making parents and kids happy, plus lofts can squeeze in on top, two of them.
I want to see more tiny hones with a downstairs bedroom, two lofts, AND bunk bed area! Those always fascinate me and it's the type I'd be set to buy.

I was thinking a small chest freezer in the bathroom, on the wall in front of the stacking washer/dryer.

I recently saw one that was parked at lake Dallas Tiny Home community and it had two small bedrooms that fit a twin bed in each little room with a chair and a dresser and the second bedroom sat above the first and was more of a loft but still had its own enclosed space where a second child could climb up into. As a mom that has three little girls I would love an opportunity it’s to have a place for my girls and I but to give them a little space if their own. I love you guys and would love a model that you could market to single moms and or dads. It’s so scary looking at being a single parent and the costs of apartment rent and this would be an amazing option.

Same goes for your email; if you get something that says you have a delivery (that you didn't order) and need to give your information, or your bank account is blocked for some reason, even a weird note from someone you know (always call them instead and let them know they've been hacked), just delete and do not click on any link in the text. It's essential we * ahem * 'mature' folks stay vigilant and secure.

Think, a 30" kitchen (they make them), 2 small bedrooms that fit 30" beds on main floor for kids, a small living room for a couch to eat on and tv, loft for parents and you're good. That's only about 12' for two main floor bedrooms, 8' for living/kitchen and another 4' for bathroom total 24' stingy by 10' of 2 bedrooms main floor living making parents and kids happy, plus lofts can squeeze in on top, two of them.
