But I watched that video of them shooting for 5:30-5:50. I'm like "that ain't going to cut it. And Joey is probably the most consistent because he knows how to make his car do what he needs it to do. That thing is dialed. And 95% of the time he's got his sh:t together. And so does everyone he picked. I guess all the 4x4 trucks coming are mostly F150s. Not sure. Coyote is great. But if they are stock to medium built Ford coyote engines with a power adder, like most of those trucks are. They're going to have problems. Because the no prep guys have full blown racecar engines with power adders. Their engines are capable of 4 digit Dyno numbers without a power adder. So I don't know how it's going to turn out. It's exciting though. Can't wait to see it.

Talent, experience and knowledge are all crucial to be competitive to run on a prepped track consistently and be successful. Take the prepped track out of the equation and realize who is coming full sends their cars down tracks and roads Cleeter would likely chit himself and you realize that’s an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT LEVEL and no amount of money is going to replace that experience, talent and knowledge. Joey can haul Beater Bomb to any track, road or street on the planet and walk it then go back and dial his car to go down it and is fast AF like 95% of the time. And that’s with the possibility of having to load his car up and go to multiple different roads to get a race in and people tracking mud, trash, grass, sand and everything else onto the surface the entire race. And he is bringing 15 other gangster badazz’s on the same level with monsters with him. You can’t buy that, you are a fool if you think you can. lol To put it in perspective look how long it took Cleeter to hit 6’s in Mullet and that was Mullet being professionally built specifically to run 6’s on a prepped track and Mullet wasn’t cheap by any stretch of the imagination and had a massive supporting cast. I follow Cleet and I remember it taking well over a year.. One of the gangster badazz’s Joey will likely be bringing threw down 6’s in an all steel car he did a lot of work himself to build it up to run 1/8 street races in Cleeters Christmas tree race. That was with a tree and grinch strapped to the roof and missing the converter set up and blowing through the converter with less than half of what he can turn it up and his first time running 1/4. That was with a car that wasn’t built for that kind of racing and WAY less money spent. In fact the same race another gangster I’m not sure if Joey will bring took his car within .14 of Cleeters personal best in Mullet and that was his first time running his car on the 1/4.
As a small tire AWD racer, it’s refreshing to hear three people that “get it”. The only advantage for AWD is being able to f up a tune first round. And that’s on back side/virgin stuff. Front side forget it. AWD is a disadvantage.
The 1320 guys definitely need to go to the all-wheel drive versus two-wheel drive they would bring a different perspective to the whole thing on how they go about video taping everything and talking about what's going on they definitely need to go

4x4 ≠ AWD It would be awesome to see 1320 cover the race though, as others have said Cleet just shows the meat and potatoes but 1320 goes car to car and talks to the racers, making for a completely different video that’s equally valuable to us.
Cleetus was in the process of making their Blazer Rocky into a no prep drag car and then they broke the snout off the crankshaft. I guess they abandoned that idea for the awd NASCAR truck.
1. Those truck probably make close to the same power 2. They can put more power down sooner because of 4 driven wheels. The rwd stuff is going on the trailer round 1
Watched the new dale truck video and while it is impressive i dont think 5.40s are going to win this thing. Could realistically see some high 4 sec passes from the rwd team.
I’m really hoping Midnight Performance shows us what they can do. Dale truck just there to be normal traffic honestly. Joey been in the 4s for, hell seems like forever. Since I’ve known of him at least. I’m not sure who all is coming outside of that. But definitely will be 4s cars. I just hope Team AWD is impressive.
