For 6000 yen($40) per hour (plus some other fees), you can hire a female companion in Japan to go on dates with you. With your date, you can do things that people normally do on dates such as holding hands, going to a movie, going to a theme park, and etc, as long as you follow their rules.

This actually seems like a great idea tho, as a solo traveler I'd def consider it because it's basically like having a local tour guide.
It is a bit expensive for a tour guide, but it's pretty fun if you're not actually expecting a girlfriend/boyfriend experience!

I saw a video where a guy rented a grandmother for an afternoon. Was very interesting and seems like a good way to keep the grandmothers busy instead of just being lonely. The lady seemed very outgoing and easy to talk to. She looked only in her mid 20s, very kawaii.

That's a lot of Japanese people, they're just not confident in their English and are afraid of making mistakes, they're really modest but once they get comfortable oh boy does the great English start flowing like water.

The hall is a much bigger area and has room for people to pause and look around without getting in the way of foot traffic

8:15 - yeah for a lot of men, simply using a daily moisturizing lotion with SPF 15 sunscreen in it after washing your face in the morning will do wonders for your face and looking younger for longer. You don’t even have to get a really expensive one, like the Cetaphil or Aveeno ones at Target for like 10-15 bucks or so will do. If you wanna take an extra step, a night-time moisturizer at bedtime would be the other basic step.
You don’t really notice it (cause you’re not getting a burn), but even on cloudy days, the sun is always blasting your face with UVA and UVB rays that damage your skin over time, so it’s good to have some protection against that

Rental girlfriend/boyfriend is a good way to get over your dating fears and learn new places and experiences. Making you a better date in the future. The only problem I see as the GF/BF is having back to back dates with people wanting to go out to eat. So much food.
