Oh boy! Edd never took a body shop class. That little dent on the nose could all be taken out with a hammer in one hour, and no body filler.

At that time, Alfa made all its engines in aluminum and ran on unleaded 95. During this time all manufacturers manufacture cast iron engines there was always rust in the cooling circuit.

Only real problem is matching that red color, without the total re-spray.🇺🇸😁👍

That's not the biggest issue. This video does not show it, but apparently, he had to sand down to almost bare metal. What this video doesn't show is that this car was apparently supposedly originally a Blue Alfa.

Don't believe me? On the other video, it shows the hood sanded and it Bright Blue! Also, if you look very closely in this video when he's leaning in to engine to get at the carbs, you can see that the engine bay is Blue. Look closely

Pain is a couple times a year with this car. But if it's working 100%, everything is forgiven.

Never really got into the whole WD thing. Simply because the concept is flawed. In that they NEVER took into consideration the cost of labour. Basically time (in any commercial enterprise) cost money. How much varies, but it definately cost something. So to claim to by a car for (say) £4,000 do some work on it and and sell it for a grand more is just total BS. They probably made NOTHING on 99% of their builds. If you actually took the cost of labour into account. If a hobbyist is restoring a car. That is a totally different thing. As that is a pure ‘labour of love’. But WD isn’t about that. It’s about ‘flipping’ a purchase to make a profit. So basically total BS.
