I got lucky enough to see them play this at Conerstone in Orlando. Copeland played right before and aaron marsh was obviously there to sing this... it was amazing.
i'm an atheist and a fan of underoath since the start...their religious views don't really matter to me...so don't hate on them. they are not trying to convert anyone, because everyone gets to listen to whatever they want..
theres 2 aarons. 1 is drumming and providing backup vocals, the other aaron came out for this song and is the lead singer of copeland. he's on the cd as well.
I agree with you. I say just because someone doesnt pray every day or go to chruch that doesnt mean they are going to hell if there is one... I bet if there is a heaven that ppl can get there just for being a genuwine nice person who has and shows honesty, integrity, and respect! You dont have to live your life by His rules
they're faith on others They're just showing what they're beliefs are. And also, music and each song is different person, sure the artist wrote it the way they sore it, but it is there to be interpreted. I don't feel Jesus when I listen to this song, if personally, feel love for the people most dear to me. All in all, underoath is amazing. Sorry this was so long
And lol @ all these people complaining. Would you go to an Underoath show for clean vocals? Why not just stick to the CD then? I think the imperfections make it that much greater.
spencers the greatest and so is this performance kots of energy and passion its very raw underOATH sound more dead on live now. But for the touring of the last cd it was more unpredictable and raw sounding... like the stuff on the They're only chasing safety DVD. I like it when spencer sounds out of control but you got to be a big fan to love it I guess
God loves you guys. And for all these dudes bashing no belivers give it up. Ppl will not be saved through heated debates, God loved us, therefor we love should love others, especially thoes who dont know God
Everytime I listen to this and spencer screams "home" I get cold chills. It's kind of let-down, to know that this song will never be played this amazing unless aaron rejoins the band..
ok reasons while aaron might not have sounded great. he was probably out of his comfort zone not playing guitar or piano but even if you take that out of the picture look at aaron when he sings he puts a finger in his ear, something musicians do when they cant really hear themselves signifying a possible bad mix in the monitors. and aaron marsh probably didnt soundcheck so the bad monitor thing is a strong possibility. all i know is the two times ive seen copeland aaron has had excellent vocals
Guys, the real recording... Is it just spencer (screaming) and aaron singing? Or do they have a guy helping them out singing the high high part? Wanna knw if it's 3 or 2 people singing in this song
@backpocketbeliever20 Aaron quit to pursue a career in ministry, while doing a little bit of music on the side. He has more "control" over the almost because it is essentially his band. Underoath, while he was the only remaining original member, was a company of sorts, where his control over the band was more limited in comparison to The Almost
The law of Causality states that where there is an effect there was a cause. The universe could have started from a Big Bang. But the Big Bang was not a cause. It was an effect of God's doing. But God does not need to have a creator because he is not an effect. He is a cause. Cause--->Effect Effect (can not create) cause
Technically that is aaron's voice, just a different aaron. lol... actually now that i look at the cd, aaron marsh co-wrote that song, is he on the album too? not sure, someone with info?
anyways, the way in Which I KNOW Christianity is true is first, and foremost on the basis and the witness of the holy spirit (apart from the evidence). The thing that separates Christianity from other religions is its not just a religion, its an actual relationship. You will actually begin to see your life change.
that is something that shouldn't have been said.. I'm a new christian, and one of the main things that kept me away from Christ is seeing hypocritical Christians... love him. don't do anything else. just love them.
but no, it... seems god will let you in if you tell him you regret it. I live a decent life, I don't hurt other people on purpose, I follow most laws. yet I am worse then a murder then a murderer in his books. I'm not saying all Christians are like that, but you should be able to understand what I mean. Anyway, onto the music. I love underoath. I interpret they're music through my emotions. I'm happy for them to be strong minded and proud, but I don't believe they are forcing...
why I should believe that that is who he is. I can prove nothing, I'm not going to go and say there can be nothing after this because no human can know that. I just don't think I should believe a certain story because that the one that have been told. once, someone told me that I would go to hell because I do not believe in god in my life time, i asked, would a murder go to hell if he believed in god and asked for his forgiveness? He said no he would go to heaven. I stated many scenarios,....
Okay lots of views I have to state here. I'm totally in love with underoaths music, I don't believe in god, because I don't see why we should believe in something simply because it has been told to us by someone else. Ask me how the world was created, ill refer you to science. I really don't know many details about that but any way. I won't say that there's no god or no budda or no such and such god. I just don't see .....
big bangs gay. Some people just dont want to except the fact that God is real...and he's been keeping their ignorant selves alive day after day. always giving them one more chance hoping they'll seek Him. Everyone will eventually get to see that God is real, but only some will get to reign in heaven with Him. Most will burn in Hell forever, never getting a break...just eternal burning. Thats why us christians have to spread the word.
God I love how Aaron just tosses the mic like fuck if I’m going ham on these drums
I got lucky enough to see them play this at Conerstone in Orlando. Copeland played right before and aaron marsh was obviously there to sing this... it was amazing.
still watching this in 2014, so awesome
Almost 2018, but it's still amazing.
3/4 the way though 2015 and they are still one of my most listened to Artists.
WOW..!!! LOVE JESUS...
FOR EVER
i agree with that
Also, people need to stop saying bands sound bad live just cause their low-quality camera-phone-recorded youtube videos sound bad.
Guys... this was before Spencer was in the band! That's the old vocalist.
JESUS IM READY TO COME HOME!
I just felt God here in my room...
spencer comes in screaming=pure perfection. love it!
without aaron they left the path to God, they dont even mention God at shows anymore.
i'm an atheist and a fan of underoath since the start...their religious views don't really matter to me...so don't hate on them. they are not trying to convert anyone, because everyone gets to listen to whatever they want..

it s the lead singer of copeland who does guest vocals in this song, amazing band and tune.
they're faith on others They're just showing what they're beliefs are. Am I the only one that noticed that Aaron was getting so intense in the ending of the song that he accidently knocked over his mic?
On purpose
Is that the dude from Copeland!?
That's Aaron Marsh of Copeland. He is also featured on the track on They're Only Chasing Safety. Aaron Gillespie sings mainly at the end.
So? They still make great music. That's the reason I like them. Religion shouldn't make you like or dislike a band...
this makes me sad.... i loved this underoath and for this reason. now with aaron gone they have gone
Yeah, goose bumbs everywhere.
Goose bumps... Every single time.
thumbs up if you're going to their Rebirth Tour
I wish they still played this song
@trentXmusic they have not gone. the message is still there. aaron wasnt the band by himself.
ahaha . ic spencer now ! Great band. . LOVE OU so much
its the drummer and another guy that sing the slow pieces and the scream singer from underoath screams the last part
Still amazing in 2018
And lol @ all these people complaining. Would you go to an Underoath show for clean vocals? Why not just stick to the CD then? I think the imperfections make it that much greater.
I'm pretty sure the main voice you hear in this song and in this video is Aaron Marsh from Copeland.
spencers the greatest and so is this performance kots of energy and passion its very raw underOATH sound more dead on live now. But for the touring of the last cd it was more unpredictable and raw sounding... like the stuff on the They're only chasing safety DVD. Love the ending to this, the way the guitar melody keeps going on. Would have loved to have that on the record.
God loves you guys. And for all these dudes bashing no belivers give it up. Ppl will not be saved through heated debates, God loved us, therefor we love should love others, especially thoes who dont know God
10 years ago? Fuck! I feel so old right now.
this was probably 2005
i need underoath back...
well surprise! ;)
@@PeacewiththeGraces Not true UnderOath anymore.
Everytime I listen to this and spencer screams "home" I get cold chills. It's kind of let-down, to know that this song will never be played this amazing unless aaron rejoins the band..
Aaron is usually playing drums but i don't know about right now
Last part when screamer had to go solo cuz drummer went off was sick
yeah, but i saw them live yesterday, and they were amazing
this recording sucks && they did mess up a lot
but they've gotten a LOT better live
the album version the singer didnt sing this song. it was the guy from copeland or something like that
Two Aarons, thus the confusion.
ok reasons while aaron might not have sounded great. he was probably out of his comfort zone not playing guitar or piano but even if you take that out of the picture look at aaron when he sings he puts a finger in his ear, something musicians do when they cant really hear themselves signifying a possible bad mix in the monitors. and aaron marsh probably didnt soundcheck so the bad monitor thing is a strong possibility. all i know is the two times ive seen copeland aaron has had excellent vocals
They did when I saw them...not sure what you're talking about. Spencer made a great speech about it.
Guys, the real recording... Is it just spencer (screaming) and aaron singing? Or do they have a guy helping them out singing the high high part? Wanna knw if it's 3 or 2 people singing in this song
i love how that one dude cant light his lighter in the beginning. ha.
its aaron the drummer i think whos singing it sounds liek him in the song harder to hear in this video recording
and i was referring to aaron playing drums when i mentioned the ear thing
yea. thats what im saying. the guy from copeland did most of the vocals.
Oh wait.. there's Spencer, this was after he joined.
haha at 3:22 aaron gillespie's microphone falls over then at about 3:35 you see stage people putting it back up. thats funny
@backpocketbeliever20

Must have been so cool to be there.
Aaron Gillespie, drummer-singer ftw. haha
14 years mann
Recorded with potato. . . great video never the less
aaron did sound pretty bad in the video. but he doesnt really suck live. i saw him live and he was reall amazing. bad night i suppose
i would be sorry if i said that too.
Do they not play this at their concerts anymore? I saw them in April then saw them again at warped, they didnt sing it either times
The law of Causality states that where there is an effect there was a cause. The universe could have started from a Big Bang. But the Big Bang was not a cause. It was an effect of God's doing. But God does not need to have a creator because he is not an effect. He is a cause.

@crimsondrivemusic aron left for his other band the almost..check them out..theyre good
I
ya same here
anyways, the way in Which I KNOW Christianity is true is first, and foremost on the basis and the witness of the holy spirit (apart from the evidence). The thing that separates Christianity from other religions is its not just a religion, its an actual relationship. You will actually begin to see your life change.
Spencer only does the screaming parts. The drummer (the person doing the main vocals) does all the singing.
I'm just wondering, who's playing drums?
@davidseq of copeloand. guest singer on this track.
2021
@crimsondrivemusic they didn't kick him out. he left on his own.
me too
he is blind in his left eye.
lead singer of copeland sings teh song
the drummer/vocalist sound better..he has such amazing voice
sorry about that its nice that you agreed with me though I thought I would get a alot of hateful replies of ppl telling me Im going to hell lol
Is it the Lead Singer from Copeland
i think that was dallas.
nope. Aaron Marsh from Copeland
haha 2 aarons
that is something that shouldn't have been said..
I'm a new christian, and one of the main things that kept me away from Christ is seeing hypocritical Christians... love him.
don't do anything else.
just love them.
aaron quit for the almost.
(Y) Love It
Aaron from copeland
