Turret - Great Raw DPS, does not have gimmicks like overcharge and building sentries, has insane range, but not that worth it for its price as it deals less dps than a max engi and costs twice as much(when including the splash from engis lvl 6 senrty), also has a small placement limit, Pursuit is getting a rework so not now
@@Ahtohuko except that isn't happening, even if mortar consistently hits 6 things at once every shot it will barely reach gatling's dps with 4 mortars placed possibly less, because cluster bombs do not always land on enemies, and mortar's explosion does less damage the farther enemies are away from the center
Just gonna mention accel has an overheat feature that doesnt allow him to go over the dps so with commander and dj its the same dps making engineer still better

accelerator is still mostly below the other 2, you calculated it wrong as well(at least from what i know). now for placment cost and upgrade cost accelerator is the most expensive by far with 416k, engineer in second with 322.2k and gatling gun in last with 228k. accelerator with supports only gets 3200 dps. engineer with supports is 2900 and gatling gun is 2600. yes ofc it has more dps but it has so many down sides that the dps doesn’t even matter that much. accelerator is super vulnerable to stuns, its has to charge up and cooldown after reaching the overheat, and its targeting is terrible. engineer is quite the opposite, it has so many good things about it that the dps doesnt matter that much, it has high value, its one of if not the cheapest dps towers to max out, its stun immune, it has crowd control, it detect hidden enemies, it detects flying enemies and it detects lead enemies, cheap placment cost which makes it useful throughout the entire game as well.(its sentries however cant take buffs from supports) now gatling gun is the best here because its able to be controlled by the player, it has crowd control, it has hidden and flying detection, it has full map range, its super consistent, stun immune and ridiculously high dps. so overall engineer or gatling gun will take first place out of these three, accelerator has the most down sides of all towers on this list, it just has the most dps and its carried by placment limit and supports, accelerator sucks without those. gatling gun is literally able to solo game modes and engineer can do the same, gatling gun and engineer though are a bit more expensive than accelerator but their both a lot better.

accelarator fell off so hard. I used him in trio bl2 with friends (accel was our main dps pursuit was sub dps) and our pursuits hard carried the round. accel is no longer good

It get's an increase actually, just you overheat faster, but this allows the next burst to come earlier, increasing the dps
