I am experimenting with mesh painting with render targets now so hopefully i will have nanite support as well ;)
It will utilize UVs instead of vertices which means that it will be even all over the mesh as well which should work even better with weather stuff and static meshes that may not have vertices evenly all over!

There is, you can find it amongst my videos. It's a bit old now though but will update it this fall.
There is also a prepped UDS Sample project available, it is exactly the same that is used in the video.
