I love doing an orb build for the mage. I've had so many orbs that they formed a solid wall, the orbs were overlapping. And there's an orb that gives you +1 orb and all your orbs do +2 damage.

33:58 Glacial Strike did actually just get removed from the talent tree instead of becoming rare. You can see it there below stone skin (the epic talent).
It may have something to do with it being a challenge run but this is just speculation.
