Dang. I cried. I just want to say how proud I am of Maxine. She truly captured my heart. In spite of all the bashing and attacks, she showed resilience and perseverance while remaining humble and kind. She was honest about her weaknesses and she could have easily curled up in a corner and throw in the towel, but she chose to work hard to make the Filipinos proud. She was an amazing host to the other countries. She was able to show how beautiful she is inside and out as well as the Philippines. Please no more bashing. At the end of the day all you're doing is criticizing someone's journey and dreams. She's living her version of life and I think it she should be applauded because she has positive goals in life--to inspire others and spread kindness. I love Pia, and Pia is queen and my woman crush for life, but I find Maxine's story so endearing. I have a soft spot for her.
