Today I have another Harley Benton review for you! In this video I will be reviewing and unboxing the Harley Benton TE-20HH SBK. This guitar is very versatile as you will see in this video! It is a great beginners guitar OR a great modding platform for anyone wanting a cost effective project.
I have never seen a Harley Benton Guitar go out of stock so quickly due to high demand! I thought the EX-84's went out of stock quickly, but this is on another level so make sure you get one as soon as they are announced to be back in stock!

Just got mine in the mail a couple hours ago. Super pretty and great sounding. Also looks like they changed it a bit sense this video. Cause now it's a string through body.

oh yeah its great a great candidate - I bought 2 and done massive body mods on one to convert to a travel guitar.... bolt on neck and spare strings and it is super transportable....

Love it! I bought it expressly to mod. The stock pickups have fake pole adjustment screws. Now that looks proper nice, dare I say it nicer than the other!? Will you mod it like the strat type? Plus do you know if they do replacement scratchplates for them? Too work my friend 🤘🏻
It’s fantastic mate! HB are making guitars that are exceptional! Not just for the price! I tried a £330 guitar I wanted to buy the other day and it was horrible compared to this one!
I don’t think they do replacement pickguards, but they are pretty standard I think. Might need to drill a hole or two like I did with my St-20 but the TE style ones might fit better 👍
I might do but I’m not very sure yet, may keep it as it is as it’s really not bad at all! Or I may keep it for a special occasion 😜

I wanted to try this one, and tune it drop C and to put new set of pups like Gojira's Joe duplantier signature set
Do it! What I do to make it easier on the guitar is keep it in Standard tuning and use the Digitech drop pedal. Then you can Neón standard tuning at all times and if you want to go to drop c, drop G or even E1 you can by the flick of a switch 😃🤘
The Gojira pups would sound sick in this 👍😃

How would you describe the neck profile? It says Modern C in the description, but I've been reading reviews where people are saying it has a very chunky neck. How would you describe the neck: slim C, medium C, chunky C?

Received this guitar yesterday. It feels great to me, but I'm a bit disappointed with the a lot of buzz I hear. Though when I put my hand on my laptop or sound interface the buzz is not so loud. Maybe the stock cable is also a source of trouble?

Can you swap out the current pickups for some EMG's without having to route out anything?

I 've always loved Teles and my favorite one to play is my HB Fusion-T HH. I wanted a guitar that I could setup for C standard so I purchased one of these. I can't wait until it arrives here in the US. I'm not a big fan of the pickguard color, has anyone replaced the pickguard on one of these that they can recommend?

I haven’t changed the one on my guitar but I did replace the one on my strat and I had to drill new holes into it. I’d probably say that if you’re going to change it, be prepared to drill new holes (just in case)

What’s the pickup output on those medium or higher? The Roswells in my CST 24t’s from HB were pretty hot!
I just got my HB and did a quick output-measurement: they are insanely high at 38.6K (bridge) and 39.5K (neck)! They sound quite good tho, and I'm not yet sure what humbuckers I want to replace them with and whether I want to replace them at all...

It has indeed. After a bit of playing and a good clean you won’t have to worry about a job fingertips anymore 😄👍
Does anyone know what type of frets are on this please? How tall?
Hi Mei, normally most guitars are made with nickel frets. However they are only called nickel frets but they most of the time composed of 18 percent nickel, 80 percent copper, and small amounts of such other materials as zinc, lead, and cadmium. This being said it is not 100% confirmed on the HB site of the Thomann site of what material is actually use but this is my guess.
As to how tall they’re I would roughly say 2mm.

I can confirm that these are indeed coming back 😄 I have had confirmation from Harley Benton that they should arrive back in stock around March all being well, but they cannot pin point a specific date due to COVID
