How i got hooked on skiing: my dad bought me some clapped out old rental gear. 20 dollar boots, 10 dollar skis, 20 dollar helmet, poles from the dumpster. Then he just forced me to ski the hardest trails on the mountain over and over. Sounds crazy but it's the best way.
