There is not much to say when you need some body to be blessed all you have to do is call on Ms. Patti if I passed away i would need her to sing at my funeral she would just make everybody feel so so much better I can listen to her everyday of my life and she will bring the sunshine into my day

One thing that I have noticed is that people complement on how Motown trained their women on how to walk talk and sing with regine, and showmanship. Well Patti wasn't trained or taught she has elegance and that comes from being a real woman. She didn'[t have to sell sex records to make it she did it cause of her talent.

People forget that Patti can really sing. When you see her on TV and "always" discussing senseless material items, it distracts you from her natural talents. She's really gifted. Most R&B singers can't tie her boot strings. Except Mariah Carey.

Neither of these songs are "so-so". Both are classics in their own right. Patti sang arrangements of them which allowed her to showcase her unique talents, and it was Oh so beautiful, but these songs are timeless. Indeed, their timelessness and quality probably had something to do with her choices.

Patti labelle, that heffa almost made me mess on myself, it's a doggone shame, the way she can just out sing a tornado, you wouldn't have any idea, that it even came over you, just listen to her give a tribute, and you would not be able to hear no wind, the windows breaking or anything, because she takes your concentration, and holds on to it, it's like a great white shark being turn upside down, you just go into this trance, and your brain cannot think of anything else.
If you are comparing this performance to Jahneen Otis' "Lord Lift Us Up Where We Belong," than Patti's performance wins hand down! I listened to Ms. Otis' performance and wasn't at all impressed.
