  • The 911 Targa was a Porsche that once again blew wind into the hair of the badge's enthusiasts for convertibles.
A curiosity are the windscreen wipers. They're not black to look cool and sporty but because the chrome ones had too much of a glare.

Oh goodness, memories flooding back. I owned a 911T Targa in college and later a 911S Targa, both the longer wheelbase models introduced in 1969. You should do a video on the Citroen DS sometime.

That cannot be a 67. Look at the brake reservoir location, the window reservoir next to the front hood latch and it has the elephant hyde textured vinyl which was not available on the 67. The door cards are 68. The Targa bar was designed by Ferdinand Butzi Porsche but not because of the American market. We had several convertibles on the market in 67. Also the seat delete was an option, the seats were not removed because of the American market. Who does your research??
