It’s hard not to appreciate these guys for their talent. The comparison to LZ is a compliment. Their interpretation of Rock is a compliment to those who love music. Is there an old-school vibe? Hell yes there is! Why do you think bands from 30 4050 years ago we’re selling out arenas today?

As for comparisons to Plant, imo he was always more soulful than Plant, I remember when he took Gillan's place and the way he and Glenn Hughes introduced a more soulful sound into Purple. Some didn't like it but I loved it and it only improved once Blackmore left and Bolin took over. I much preferred Bolin to Blackmore. PS Don't leave Sam the bassist and organist out.
