The trainer is responsible for ensuring that they are presenting horses without banned substances in their systems. I've had loads of them that get treatment like that in the course of their preps... you build in plenty of error in the rest period and if in doubt have them tested before they race. I'd be surprised if a trainer the ilk of Dunlop made a rookie mistake like that. If you said that to a steward in Australia that response would be "So what!" :D
is st nicholas abbey ever going to be ridden slightly closer to the pace so than the 2 lengths he loses by he doesnt have to try and make up in the finish , he's 2 or three lengths down when theyy all push the button , and he's 2 lengths down at the end , , pretty much every race . fail
I see they stripped the Prix Jean-Romanet win from her for testing positive to a banned anti-inflammatory. Must be disappointing for connections. This I think was one of the best wins in her career in terms of franking her form against the likes of SNA and Nathanial. It also franks the form of the 2nd she ran last year to So You Think.
Good one - thanks - subbed.
And Snow Fairy broke the record, running the 10 furlongs in 2:00.92. I don't think she's forgotten at all.
Snow Fairy somewhat a forgotten horse these days. Remember he was supplemented for the Epsom Oaks and won it in 2010.
