"Don't lose the passion please" this guy is real.
Real crazy
" don't lose the passion, *please* " now THAT's motivation :D
You know what's great about Krimh? The dedication. I remember when he used to walk to a tiny, frozen warehouse the size of a shoebox to practice! The guy worked hard and is now successful. Congrats
It's a shame alot of modern metal drummers can barely make a living doing something that takes years to master
FoxForce Five people are blinded to talent
Sounds like an issue all good artists have
SpikeFlea I agree
@@TheWitchOvAgnesi Metallica were right.
Perhaps they should focus on being more musical instead of playing more difficult techniques for bragging rights.
I had an online drum lesson with KRIMH almost 3 years ago. It was the most surreal hour of my life.
I asked him to help me with blast beats. He told me to play a little bit so he could see what I could do better. When I looked back to the computer screen he was sayin' "Dude! What the fuck am I supposed to teach you? YOU teach me! I want lessons from you now!" and I was blown away! I didn't let that get in my head and I kept working, obviously. Then we spent the rest of that hour working on double bass technique and just talking about drums. He really is a monster when it comes to the Swivel Technique! Not the fastest, but probably the most powerfull drummer I've ever seen while playing so fast. He really knows what he's talking about. My technique improved A LOT with the simple exercises he told me to do.
Without any shadow of doubt, he's my fav death metal drummer, and it's inspiring to go back to his RUclips channel and see the progress and evolution from going to covering Decapitated, Arch Enemy and Lamb Of God songs, to play WITH Decapitated, Behemoth, Redemptor and now, of course, Septicflesh.
KRIMH fucking rules and I dare you to say the opposite!
Wow, you must be incredible!
007
@utewbing I don't understand. This guy claimed to get a lesson, showed him what he could do, and the guy told him "you should be giving me lessons".
I thought that meant he was an incredible drummer.
What did I miss?
007
@utewbing LOL all good, no worries, enjoy!!!
007
nothing beats his behemoth performance left hand ov god live when the beaters went so far back. such a powerhouse.
And "Slaves Shall Serve" as well!
I can think of some songs with faster kick drums like some cattle decapitation songs and Nile songs
@@rathernot3839 yes but Krimh's playthrough of it live really gives off how powerful his double kicks can be at high tempos. Those beaters are almost touching his shins yet he's probably faster than Inferno
Marthyn and Krimh! Great duo
I took my double pedals out for the 1st time in 15 years. 200 bpm is an insane speed for me. I ended up with never damage in my back from a surgery gone to shit. Anyway, double bass has been the only way I can play even 8ths on the bass after a few years of rapidly diminished skills. It was not "hip" to play double bass with a lot of the guys I listen to. I should have never put em away. Great vid!
That progression he played would actually make for a cool song.
Yup, totally. :)
I'm SO signing up for this. See you soon
Very useful tipps and cool lesson! Mooore!
Thank you both

Good stuff Marthyn. Loving your vids man
Hi! New to the channel. I've always wanted to learn drums "in a black metal way". I am 32, do you think there is a limit of age recommended to learn? What are the downsides or upsides? Thanks for all your help.
Useful tip from KRIMH thanks alot guys...!!!!!
This is such an awesome channel
Thank you for this. I will try this one 😁😁😁
These guys are Drumming monsters, I really loved what Krimh did on HFTS's Arson álbum, drum work there is fucking awsome….
I love that T-shirt great band Agent Fresco!!!!!

Love this channel! Please try to react to orrrr bring in Mario Duplantier from Gojira please! 🤘🏼
"Faster Tired"
Love it
I like it
Hey Marthyn, put some patches on the meshheads of your bass drums cause the beaters will go right through them...Love the vids keep em coming
Krimh is a beast, 404 on decapitated's carnival is forever is pure magic
Hey marthyn, when are you gonna hop on that kit and show us the best stuff in your arsenal?
Krimh is brilliant \,,/
Nice idea about guest

One of THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!!!!! POWERHOUSE!!!!!! 💪💪💪💪💥💥💥💥♥️🙏🤘🤘
Of course he’s playing for Septicflesh so he’s extremely good lmao
Geezus!
Very hard. :-). I will try and try.
2:28 - Wait. Krimh is Italian??
He's actually Austrian (or Polish, don't remember exactly). The word "maestro" is used in other languages too, like my native Brazilian Portuguese.
@@magrildz He's Austrian. I also love the fact that he uses, what I believe, is the correct pronunciation of the word "maestro". Here in America, you are more likely to here in said as "my-stro" and not ""my-eh-stro".
@@magrildz he doesnt sound Polish..m
I think it was a hand gesture joke
He only has Italian hands 🤣
What pedals are those?
The video was great, but I would really appreciate a camera mounted above the pedal. I don't know how you would mount it, but I'd really like to see his foot placement.
He places it on the pedal
Oh, nice Agent Fresco shirt
The have a great drummer too
Could you please react to Fredrik Widigs Marduk
Awesome, more like this! :)
What a shame you had to use electric drums for an instruction on louder strokes though ;(
I felt that with medium tension, a 45° angle of my beater with a direct drive pedal, I never lost power regardless of my speed. There is zero latency with direct drive pedals vs chain or strap. Something to think about.
I appreciate drummer like him cause people forget to hit thoose fucking drums 😅
MAKE A REACTION VIDEO TO DAN PRESLAND PLEASE
0:27 wearing Watain’s tatto lmao
Krim is one the most precise drummer I’ve ever seen of my life
With Ken bedene and Nils Fjellström seems the rapidity of his skills
What drum kit is that? Looking to trade my accoustic kit in for an electric one and this looks like a bitchin hybrid.
I cannot open the drum technique academy net link. Can someone suggest a solution
hey... the link works fine- here it is again: www.drumtechniqueacademy.net/drumtechniqueacademy
What’s that drum kit he is using is it one of these Hybrid type things ?? Thanks
hey.... that's a drum-tec pro kit
Nice Agent Fresco Shirt there!

1:45 Krimh played the double bass of One by Metallica like never before! Jajaja XD
Wos is des für a drumset?
Very difficult play slow when bass drumming is 200 BPM. = I want make with hands same speed play.
Creme de la Krimh
machine gun!
And we have a CopyRight mark by playing One Of Metallica xD

1:46 - 1:50 "Darkness, imprisoning me
. All that I see. Absolute horror....."
How can he teach anything about powerful hits while he's useing drum samplas?
1:50 and this my friends is where Lars stopped....
go start a band in 1979 before the internet and be the 1st(Exciter/Metallica) or 2nd band to play thrash, and teach yourself with zero help. after that, learn how to write bridging and rhythms, then think of those exact parts in those exact songs which you'll help write of course and lastly, Tape trade and send out demos, turn your band into the biggest metal and possibly rock band of all time. Let me know when your done. BTW, what the fuck would you have played in those songs that would have made them better? I suspect nothing, nor do I think you could write anything like that classic shit(kill 'em all, ride the lightning, master of puppets) he's obviously not the greatest and it's pretty easy to learn someone else's shit if you really really want to cause it's already written for you, so judging his parts is very easy waaaayyyyyyy after the fact. That being said, i'm sure his wallet doesn't care what you think and 90% of this current scene is bullshit(there are many ways to pose) which no one will remember in 50 years. They will however remember Metallica, Slayer, Motorhead etc........
Here's some gilrs who blow away lars and the two guys in this video. If ya don't think so, then you simply don't get drums. PERIOD
