It literally made me rethink the way I play Minecraft.
I played for years now (Doing PvP and multiplayer games) but I started to do solo worlds 3 years ago.
However, since I know the game perfectly, I always rushed the beginning (Rushing xp farms to have the best armor / tools as early as possible / not creating any base or anything) but I realize that rushing that phase was not ideal since after that, you're just in a world without any meaning and all you can do is build and all.
I'll probably try to create more meaning rather than just trying to build to hide farms and rushing throught everything.

PS : Yeah pls, I know most of the mods used but I would love to borrow some that I don't know (+ the texture pack is amazing).
I am super glad my approach was this thought provoking. My biggest issue with my previous experience was the same. Rushing everything takes the fun out of things. The only reason I went to the end is because I needed end rods. Otherwise, I wouldn't even have gone to the end.

For the past year or so, I've been going on and off Minecraft, getting frustrated over a death that lost me all my progress, or not being able to find diamonds. I'm not a good player, I genuinely suck at the game, but all those losses hurt my fragile ego.
Only a few days earlier, I realized my mistake. I kept trying to rush through the game, quickly building farms and entering the Nether using lava pools to speed build a portal, and stuff like that. I realized that I had been trying to play the game without actually taking time to enjoy it.
So, after that realization, I loaded a new world. Instead of rushing, I took my time to genuinely appreciate small aspects of the game. Be it building, or mining, or just admiring the world and its terrain. I'm proud to say that I've fallen in love with the game once again.
So, this video of yours genuinely hit hard. Watching you taking your time to build your world around you reminded me of my recent realization, and I genuinely felt happy that I clicked on this video. You just earned another faithful subscriber my friend.
@snapbug3272 This is incredible to hear. This was my exact issue as well. There is no joy in rushing through the game just so you lower the risk of dying. To be honest, I haven’t even thought less about dying than in this world. I am too busy being focussed on the enjoyment of it. This is THE way to play minecraft without ever getting bored.

For the basement of the castle you could make a nice room for every charcter youve found: such as spot, curious carlos, hooves etc. also you could make tiny villas for the very special animals in your world. I hope you like my Idea

What shaders were those? I use complimentary unbound right now and mostly use Forge over fabric, although I probably need to go back to fabric

I think the unoriginal thumbnail and title could really deter quite a lot of people from clicking, the content is actually interesting though.
For the floating island you should make an anchor that false in the lake so it looks like it would float away if the anchor wasn't there
please make a mod video. i can tell vanilla refresh is there but the generation looks great and the convivence mods like the one with the enchantment table look cool. and if it is possible add it to a pack? this video makes me want to start up hardcore again.
