What a great trip from Texas up to Galesburg for the NSFI! A buddy and I ran it back in 2011 from Spring, TX (KDWH) to Galesburg and back for the 40th fly-in. 2 days up and 2 days back, 11 legs, and 23 hours of flying with the "Old Girl," N55373, an older restoration also in Navy colors. First stop for avgas going up was Tyler, TX, which required a Special VFR clearance to get in due to all the wildfire smoke. It took a lot of close map reading to find the runway! Split, sunburned nose at the end of the trip. Flew over the same lakes in eastern Oklahoma. I have to agree with Craig Pennington. Rather listen to the beautiful sound of the W670 at work without the music. But enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing. "Mike" Kelly "Old School Aviator," CFI, and Stearman pilot.
I was about to say that you may be part Eskimo wearing that t shirt in open cockpit. Like motorcycling, it may be warm or hot but put that leather jacket on. It will be cooler and or colder in just a few short minutes. Great video but the music isn't really necessary. It distracts from the subject at hand & the beautiful radial music that's played.
Ah, summertime in the midwest! It's still crazy hot even with the adiabatic lapse rate! What is actually annoying is my shirt sleeves flapping around! Thanks for watching!

Charles, If I could figure out how to get rid of the wind noise I would do it! I'll keep trying! Thanks for watching!
@@HangaRatz I certainly do understand about the wind noise! "Mike" Kelly
