South Carlsbad State Beach has a large campground and is located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. About half of the campsites are ocean front with great views of the water. Amenities include water, flush toilets, showers and a dump station. Our favorite sites are 4 to 72 and 156 to 223.

#35 is the best spot in my opinion.....stay there once or twice a yr
