Hmm... I'm under impression (hopefully wrong) that Barney doesn't seem to be much caring whether Mitch is in the band or not. The same as he didn't really worry about departure of Jesse in 2004. He can be bothered only when actually it is him, who is out of the band (like in 1996, when he got crazy about being sacked and smashed his bedroom). I know Jesse and Mitch left the band on their own, but the result is the same - Napalm Death is missing not only great guitarists, but also genius songwriters. Isn't that an issue really to Barney?

He seemed to me like a very caring person. I think it's more a case of the situation being out of his hands, so there's nothing he can do about it. And they have to move on. Just my opinion. Thanks for commenting.

I think Mitch is dealing with some family problems so there's little the band can do except soldier on and wait for him to come back once he's ready.

99hammy99 The thing is that "family problems" have been lasting for two years now. How much longer is it going to take? Another two years? I'm afraid there are other reasons, too... Jesse also "had problems" and band also told him to come back when he's ready. He never did.
