Commercial Fishing - A Day in the life of a Rod and Line Conger Eel Fisherman | The Fish Locker

Today my commercial fishing friends and I join Aaron and his crewman aboard his commercial fishing vessel Happy Days out of Dartmouth. We fish with rod and line on a wreck in the English Channel primarily for Giant Conger Eels. We have a bonus catch of some great Pollack but the main of the catch today is Conger Eels. We fish for the day catching some huge fish, explaining the methods and tackle, the commercial benefit of Conger Eel fishing and then show the eels being prepped and cleaned for market.
