Including an unmasked head sculpt would have been nice.

Aww man. Apart from the flaking. I loved the first version of the figure. So much i got 3 of them. And while the dio/base and new outfit looks nicer. I think hot toys dropped the ball on this by not having the mask removable and not having a killer head sculpt of Anne Hathaway.. ( i would have gotten multiples of it ) i think this version’s resemblance could be much better.. Just when Hot Toys was bringing their A game back to their headsculpts. Good review man!! I haven't noticed any deterioration on mine.
Great figure but my guess they don’t really have permission to use Anne Hathaway’s likeness so they “hide” it behind the mask. Otherwise, an additional head sculpt with her not wearing the mask would have been a great addition. Beautiful figure nonetheless.

I almost 100% sure that Inart will do this figure in 1/6 after Christian Bale Batman so I will wait to get a better version quality of this character.
Hot Toys improve this figure but they always use bad quality materials and this costume in false leather will break easily.
I agree they will also. Now if someone would just get the licensed for the nurse joker , give me a demon batman 2.0, waiting for inarts batman, hope inart does a batman begins one also one day, give me a new Gordon and ra's and that will make me happy for a bit 😂

Well I'm glad that you had this video because at least you answered my question that the backdrop is actually plastic and not cardboard I'm glad for that that I wish they could have me her hair sculpted when I understand that probably doing that would have to force them to raise the price of the figure more and people already probably lost faith that this figure would have ever been released since it's been in exile for 2 years and a half Whit delays but I like the improvements that they made for the outfit the body and the hair changed this will definitely be the first rooted hair figure that I ever have in my collection and definitely going to get the bat pod for her to be displayed

I attached the headgear on my 1.0 after a five minute struggle, but the very first time I tried to flip up the goggles, the incredibly flimsy strut broke.
Now it's permantly glued in the raised position.
I was annoyed when the 2.0 was announced.
But it looks as though the likeness of Anne Hathaway is not as good on the 2.0.
It would be nice to get a body upgrade, but I'll just stick with the original.
Im gonna treat mine with 303 and then add a clear coat like ive done for the other figures with pleather. But the suit feels more like a spiderman suit, but i never owned the 1st one so it could be the same. Wish you could unzip her, cause it does look good when you do

I love the official image and the prototype official display. Now the final product doesn’t have a neck joint and thick & fat face shape.
They still use same pleather material. Just prepare for deterioration in 6-7 years. It is cool for for a while though.
I see you listed the diorama display base as 40cm high, is that the height with the platform raised to its maximum?
Do you thing the outfit of the figure would be peeling over years of time. Btw your mom really good to support you. Very good video 👍
Thank you! I never had any figures with peeling problems because where I live the weather is always very dry. You need to be aware of the humidity to make the outfit last longer
Bad Hot Toys, it would be cool to have the option to show the figure without the mask.
I agree, but this would have forced them to make a better head sculpt. With a mask it's easier to cheat with the likeness.

The truth: the new HS sucks compare to 1.0.

I'm afraid it is or at least the boots and arms are to me. One day we will get one from inart lol and hopefully they use something different. We got real leather with Logan for his jacket, not sure why they don't do it more. Charge Me 50 bucks more 😂. I'd rather have a longer lasting hot toy. So I'm doing a clear coat on mine. It worked for my Predators and some other figures
It is, real leather would be much better indeed, but it may be too thick for the costume in terms of appearance. As far as I can recall, the DX10 is the only figure that HotToys used real leather.
The likeness of Anne Hathaway is poor. Especially the neck joints
Terribly disappointing figure. The only good thing for me is the base, because I'm planning buying the new Bane when it'll be released, so seeing that the wall can be removed is cool. But the fig in itself... It's more accurate than the first figure...but.... I don't think that material side will be... really better against time
